Chart is... just a mash of other charts. Lazy. Bad. One of those charts is NGO. A Konami employee remembered NGO ESP exists and actually said yep that's a chart we're going to include
1:12-1:23 parts of Paranoia Hades ESP ending 1:24-1:35 parts of Paranoia Respect ESP in mid section 1:36 and after parts from True Blue ESP I'm seeing very familiar patterns being reused from other charts.
I wouldn't mind the fact this entire chart with the odd arrow here or there is copied from other charts but for the life of me I can't work out why or if there's any pattern to which charts/songs are being used. Broken My Heart If you were here (Challenge) NGO Brilliant 2 U AKBK mix Paranoia Hades Paranoia Respect True Blue Are all the ones i've recognised (some minor variations like using left or right and moving an arrow to make it lead into other patterns)
The song is really good, but man this chart blows. I'm fine with charts that comprise of references to older charts as long as the song is made as a tribute to DDR in some way like DDR TAGMIX or even OurMemories. But this? They just don't fit here. It feels like they only gave it references to old charts just b/c this Golden League commemorates the 25th Anniversary of DDR, yet the song itself just sounds like a typical Eurobeat song and not made as a special tribute to DDR. Even half of the charts they reference feel so random: why of all songs are Paranoia Hades, Paranoia Respect, NGO, and True Blue referenced here? At least in other tribute charts there's some kind of clear relation, but this just doesn't.
Out of the all of the referenced charts in this chart, Broken My Heart ESP and If You Were Here CSP made the most sense because both of those songs were from the era of DDR this song represents as a whole, Brilliant 2U AKBK Mix also makes sense even though it's newer since that song is Eurobeat like this
@@jasonmartinez5116 Yeah, if they really wanted the song's charts to be a tribute to past charts, it should've used charts from past Eurobeat songs in DDR. Paranoia Hades, Paranoia Respect, NGO, and True Blue definitely aren't Eurobeat.
@@jasonmartinez5116 Yeah, I agree; it's weird that clearly the chart author cared about the Eurobeat theme to start and so the beginning of the chart looks really fun and appropriate! Then it just kinda jumps the shark by halfway in. :(
Finally, a not-so-overrated Eurobeat song! Tho it feels a bit short compared to others. Although, are NGO’s and Paranoia Hades’s charts REALLY necessary…?
A portion of Paranoia Hades ESP is actually used at 1:12. In fact here are all of the charts reused: 0:23 Broken My Heart ESP 0:35 If You Were Here CSP 0:40 NGO ESP 0:55 Brilliant 2U AKBK Mix ESP 1:25 Paranoia Respect 1:37 True Blue
Great song, garbage chart. A lot of parts doesn't go with the music. What a waste of a great track. And it's not like we have much eurobeat in DDR. Please stop referencing other charts for no reasons especially when you can't do it properly. Like seriously i was thinking the video was off sync or it was a recording issue when i watched it, crazy how bad this is.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Great song, and somE of the steps should've followed her voice rather than.... Something really random? The steps feel really mismatched. I was happy to see it get a 16 rating (was worried it would get a 14), but man, this chart is bad.
@@Tarento7386 This chart is a mixture of charts from other DDR songs, in this case: 0:23 Broken My Heart ESP 0:35 If You Were Here CSP 0:40 NGO ESP 0:55 Brilliant 2U AKBK Mix ESP 1:12 Paranoia Hades ESP 1:25 Paranoia Respect 1:37 True Blue
A modern day Eurobeat song that retains the cheesy and enthusiastic spirit of its 90’s-2000’s predecessors? And a slick looking chart to boot? Okay, dev team. You’ve done good.
