Here it is! A DDR songlist that jump-started my childhood of the slew of games to come. Ever since I go to a friend I almost always pick this mix and see if I can manage to beat some pretty hard stepcharts which also includes MAXX Unlimited...On Basic mode ^_^. Nevertheless, It's still in my top USA DDR games to this day with songs being among my favorite of all time! Enjoy!

The Human Mind is a incredible knowledge base. Just seeing the title screen logo can trigger memories of the entire song list, which also trigger memories of the step chart patterns and feelings of nostalgia

Maybe the best tracklist of any NA DDR release. This was the one game I played the most on my shitty soft pad, about 15 years ago. I should look into getting an actual decent pad one of these days.

DDR MAX 2 was my first PS2 DDR and it's songlist is so untouchable. Feel like I'm in a 2003 dance club with tons of good trance, techno, and R&B.

Looking at the full music selection for this game, I can definitely see why it became a Greatest Hits title. For me, the top three North American console releases for the PlayStation 2 are as follows: 1. Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME2 2. Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 3. DDRMAX2: Dance Dance Revolution

2When you play the game for the first time, the default song list is enough to get you to play over and over again with fan favorites from Japan you would have never thought would make it over to a USA release. And DDR Extreme well... The interface did not go over well with the fans but the song list kind of feels like a DDR Extreme game minus some JPOP from that release. DDR Extreme 2 redeemed itself with an awesome sound track before they went onto the X series.

Unlocks songs, a lot of them appear on the Japanese version of DDR Extreme for the PS2 AFRONOVA Bad Routine feeling of love Forever Sunshine I Need You more deep ver 2.1. PARANOiA KCET Put Your Faith In Me SP Trip Machine think ya better D Tomorrow Perfume Try 2 Luv. U VANITY ANGEL xenon KAKUMEI MAXX UNLIMITED all of them also appear on the Japanese version of DDR Extreme for the PS2

DDR X2 never seemed that bad to me, but its songlist could have been better. If they were going to add late songs at least they should have balanced the levels for intermediate players, jumping from level 15 to 17 is too abusive. Or even better turn DDR X2 into a PLUS version of DDR X

The way the music sounds and the design looks like definitely helps. It's always similiar to our brain who saw lots of y2k influences

last DDR American release that has really good songlist until... whatever the hell Extreme was. Edit: nevermind, SuperNOVA was truly the last DDR in US that has good songlist and went all out, same goes for Extreme 2.
