This game fundamentally changed Arteta. For yrs, he tried to play open attacking footie vs Guardiola's City and here you can see City picking Arsenal off with long balls and counter attacking goals. Guardiola refusing to pin Arsenal back in their own box like he does with every other team at the Etihad, even Real Madrid, eventually turned Arteta's Arsenal into a defensive monster. Arteta said ok, you just wanna wait for us to overcommit, then I will stop and just make it as hard as possible for you to play through us....

What masterclass? Scored Lucky and easy goal. He gave wrong passes, missed the ball in the air, lost the ball a few times. If Modrić played sloppy like that they would call him finished, but Kevin is somehow a "master". Very simple player. Go watch Modrić against DeBruyne's Belgium, thats the masterclass and you may actually enjoy some balling.
I simply dislike Man City but De Bruvne and Grealish are simply superb players. Arsenal looked outplayed from the beginning as they did beginning of last year. Not sure how Arteta, seems to stutter at season beginning year after year then team build momentum very strange.
How many times did Haaland not pass in front of the goal,did he just not see his team mate,they are untold millions to not make mistakes like that,always be aware of where your team mates are.Junior soccer players can do better than that and they are not made untold millions.
stones was offside some tricky illusion work right there for you put camera at worst angle which stones is closer so he looks onside but can clearly see he's still offside, wow foul play there, whoever paid them off?
