They can choose every day if they want to go or not. So here you see the volunteers of this day. The rest stayed at home.

I wonder how they train them , this must be a daily routine for them getting used to march behind the girl playing the xylophone and the guy behind playing percussion. And probably grew a strong bond with the animals since they were little chicks, since geese are such dickish in general, and these look very well behaved.

I’ve read an interview with the man. The first months the little goose is constantly around him, wherever he goes. Last year (2023) he retired, because that became too much for him.

They march but have a resting place. Also the website states that the numbers vary day to day, since they only take the ones that want to go in a walk.

The geese find their marching to be taxing; Let them pause, let them have some relaxing. Don't stress them, though outwardly they look cool: All they want is to jump into a pool.

They are from the East of the Netherlands and this park is in the South of that country. Though they do sometimes perform in Germany.
