Thank you very much for your excellent video showing me how to replace my pressure relief valve. Your filming was really close up and very easy to follow. Much appreciated. David.
Hello. As a follow up - replacing with a new pump fixed my problem after trying so many other tips. Another contributor suggested if the pump sounded constipated - replace the pump. Grateful both your suggestions worked. Did you reapply hot glue to the pump as on the original? The fit seemed very tight to me. Thanks.
You don't have to replace the pump as long as its buzzing, that was air pocket and all you have to do was to turn your hot water knob on, the pump isn't good at pump air out in its normal frequency, and with the shot burst of pulse from the hot water, it does the trick, that works on many other machines as well, include a lot of semi auto machines.
My Delonghi does still buzz, but just limited water comes out. So sounds like there could be air pocket in the line. By “turn the hot water knob on”, do you mean just run the pump without the coffee cup and coffee? It didn’t work for me after several runs. I noticed (or remember) that the pump used to have two distinct “buzz” sounds. One is a low “hum”, another a louder “buzz”. It was during the “buzzing” period that the steamed water come streaming out. I don’t have the louder “buzzing” sound anymore and only a trickle of water comes out. Any suggestions?
@@wyt168 Is ur Delonghi a superauto machine, if so, it should have a hot water outlet, no? turn it on, let the hot water runs for 5-10 seconds, then, brew a shot.
@@checkwhatsleft4565 : Thx for the reply. Mine is not a superauto machine. However, mine has a setting for a "foamer" (on the side of the machine). Taking the hint from your video that air bubbles could be trapped in the line, I tried to switch between "foaming" (which generates steam to the foamer) and "brewing", so each time I switch, steam would come out from the drip outlet that holds the espresso cup. I tried this a few times, and it seemed to have done the trick!
Hi - I replaced my pump on the Delonghi Magnifica because it was not delivering water anywhere - the steamer now works but the coffee part is not delivering any liquid - any suggestions ? - There are no leaks . I’m an amateur but I’m willing to try ! If so do you know where I can get the parts and directions to repair myself? Thank you
HI ! My de longhi tells me the red water sensor is flashing, as if there was no water...but instead the tank is full!! so it crashes. Do you know how to solve it? Thank you !
Gents, had the same issue what I have done:bought descaling pack, have put one in and added 0.250ml of vinegar. Set it on cleaning option about 4 -5 times. All back to normal now. Hope will help.
Just seen this, i've got a loud buzzing and no water. I've changed Pump, Flow meter and anti drip valve... and i've got a loud buzzing and no water (also checked all the pipes). I'm desperate for a coffee and pulling what is left of my hair out right now. Thinking an air lock but have no idea how i get rid of that as of yet... ah well.
My water light is flashing and even after trying new sensor and checking wires to flow metre it still cuts out after a few seconds, I tried steam but only works for a short time, keeps going back to flashing water light, don't know what to try next 😢
@@mauricemoon8033yes problem solved, just put lots of descaller in the tank and run it through the machine every few seconds and let it sit for awhile then run again for few seconds and run through steamer the same until the tank is empty and that worked for me
