Hello! I'm about to get this same surgery sometime in October. I'm just wondering how you are doing now, a year after surgery. Do you have any more pain in the thumb tendon? Do you have any restrictions in movement? Have you lost any grip strength? Thank you!
Hi Dan, Sorry you have to have the surgery. The surgery itself was relatively easy. I recovered well and have much less pain. I still have some pain in my thumb and eventually have to have another surgery on the thumb itself. Having said that, I am glad I had the deQuervain's surgery and I do wish you the best.
