Really enjoy your posts.... been using the supply and relatively happy with it - its not great for the under nose or tight spots.....this was super informative - great information - excellently presented thank you !
Watching this on a Monday. I was born late. I use cold water to shave. Steel contracts in the cold making it sharper supposedly. Thanks for video. Helped me make up my mind on the Viking.
Well done Tony! We’ve had some long lost relatives in town the last couple of days and I am finally getting caught up on watching my saved vids... Thanks for the shout out. P.S - No way a cart razor could have mowed that down without clogging!
That was a good shave man. Those are my #1 blades. Amazon also sells Q-Shave razors and they are good. Maggards sells all sorts of shaving products and their clearance has a similar razor for $6. Keep on shaving,
VIKINGS BLADE The Chieftain Double Edge Safety Razor I have these its awsome But now i feel i want to change and try new one maybe i can find betteror have more experience it types
I haven’t used either. I’d look at the LEAF TWIG - single edge razor for starters. It’s an awesome razor with the built in angle 📐 for a smooth, proper shave.
I bought this as my first de razor. It's ok. It does the job and was a good entry into de shaving I suppose but I'm looking for something that gives a closer shave now. I do really like the looks of the vikings blade lineup. Think I should get a adjustable or just a more aggressive razor? I'm considering the qshave, futur clone, the vb emperor, or vb chieftain (not jr) right now. Anything else to consider?
Hello mate I am very interested how on earth you get your hair so soft for the first pass you have quite alot of growth and the razor is just easing through the hair with no problem, I have quite a corse beard and my hair is so hard there is a resistance when I'm shaving
I’ve been having great results since I changed my pre-shave routine. First I wash my face with warm water and a men’s face wash, then I apply pre-shave oil rubbing it in to the stubble for a bit. Third step a quick splash rinse with warm water, but trying to keep some of the oil on the face. Fourth and final pre-shave is to later up. Pre-shave oil has been a game changer! Thanks for watching👍🏽
@@averageguytested ok that's interesting IV tried pre shave oil before but didn't really work for me , IV heard oil and water don't really mix well, what pre shave oil do you use ?
Check out Mark Szorady he's big into the Vikings Blade gear, seem like a very good razor. Never used them as I'm on a hardware hiatus or those Nacet blades as I found the Astra SPs to be a good all rounder. Happy 40th Sunday Shave Day!
