I fucking love these guys now, Thank you Just Cause 3 developers.

I discovered them yesterday. Days when you find awesome bands are the best days.

2015: The year I discovered Royal Blood and De Staat. This year is off to an awesome start.

i never thought i could love anything originating from Holland my home country, but i'm really starting to get addicted to this music. they deserve more love, and the fact that the just cause teaser trailer used their music is gonna get them the attention they really deserve... wich is like... world wide recognition.

Video's from De Staat are beginning to look better than most Dutch TV serie's or movies. Kudo's to all involved!

The story of a whistleblower. The way I see this, the guy is a whistleblower, or he's ratting on the whistleblower. Torens character represent the people hunting the whistleblower, and this guy's the middle man who's gonna get killed for being the messenger/whistleblower.. but someone is looking out for him. DeStaat means The State. I love all their songs. They all seem apolitical in some way, and their meanings are deep. Freaking love these guys. I see Witch Doctor as going after western healthcare, Kitty kitty is all about US Politics. Just amazing music.

these guys need more recognition for sure, you can just tell by the sound that so much work goes into each one of these pieces.

I really have to thank to the Just cause 3 trailer, otherwise I wouldn't know De Staat.

This song is the shit! De Staat's fucking awesome! Why aren't these guys more popular? They deserve way more attention than they get.

Just found this song today... better late than never, especially for goodies like this song

so the dude's literally on the run, he walks into a bar and gets in trouble, we all see that, but it's what in the briefcase what I thought was strange. now I figured it out. in the briefcase is a whistle, a subtle hint that the man on the run is a whistle blower, and that makes the antagonist decide to shoot him. the fact the protagonist keeps living is a sign that he is being followed by a organisation that wants him to live and publish his story.

A future classic band. Up on the top guys, it's on its way. Your message will be heard.

Really like how he walks into a bar where the gent is waiting on him. He realizes that something is up finishes his drink and go to the bathroom. Comes out, everone is gone. Runs to his car, it is gone. The suspense up to the gunshot was amazing. Loved this video.
