Your front brake cable doesn't look like it's in properly on the caliper , missing the black twisty thing too. Loving mine so far, only had it a week and close to 300 miles on it already. I live on the beach front on the wirral UK and this bike is just amazing at pulling my trailer of fishing gear for miles and miles along the promenade from Liverpool to North Wales where I can get a cheap camp site with electric hook up for the night. This bike has got me out of a 3 year depression and I'm loving it, I'm sure it will have its problems later but at the moment I'm smiling and that's what matters. 👍

You are 100% correct... I spun the handlebars taking it off my bike rack yesterday and didn't notice it was out of adjustment until I used the front brake. Fixed in 2 seconds.

I totally agree that this bike can get you out of mind funk. After the last few years of lockdown this feels like a tremendous freedom and has gotten me out of the house willingly and daily.

You can take that sticky reflective tape off the alluminum sheet using a drill and a whizzer wheel. At least that's how I remember I did it. It's slow and time consuming but it can be done, and will hide where you got the alluminum from. Or, you could of mounted it reflective side down. If you're really lazy, spray over it with some flat black rattle can spray paint, or a color to match the rest of the bike.

A lot of the decal has worn off from having boxes rubbing on it, at this point. I do like the arrow showing when I have no cargo on it. I also used a different road sign to rebuild a bike trailer, so they have a matched theme. I still have the other half of the sign the reads "Tour". I'd like to include it somewhere visible onboard when I take the touring. I did consider using a heat gun and razor scraper to remove the vinyl decal. I used a wizard wheel with wire brush on my beach cruiser pedal bike. It did give the frame an interesting patina. I have done many ReUse projects with old road signs, from TV stands to a giant stop sign dinner table. All sign were acquired legitimately, so I don't try to disguise them. ;)

I have a T-1 and I really like this bike, yes the brakes need to be better, yes the center stand was too low but I modified mine so it stows higher from the ground and added a chain tensioner to keep from rubbing the legs. I don't like the side stand too unstable for a heavy bike.
@TornadoGarden

I saw a guy with kickstands in the back on both sides....he had them adjusted so he could just drive away and they retracted automatically. I do like center stands....maybe sell the design to Fiido? There has got to be a balance between weight, strength, and spring loaded.

Hi. Like your video. I'm also an Uber rider and was thinking of this bike for the job. How it is the experience till now. How much comfortable it is for this purpose. Something you didn't mention is how long you go with the charge on average and how it's reacting the battery after more than 1500 miles. Thank you
@TornadoGarden
@TornadoGarden Год назад
The battery is holding up fine. I have the Lite and Pro, but only one battery. Between both bikes, the battery has 12,000+ miles on it. It takes 8 hours to charge fully. I make sure to have a full charge if I plan to do a delivery shift. If I just make a few grocery runs, I'll go 2-3 days between chargings. The mag rims are maintenance free and it comes with fenders and now hydraulic brakes. I didn't want to spend extra to get those options. The battery size and motor wattage are great for the price point too. There is plenty of cargo space for delivering and It is fun to ride. Fiido shipped fast and have good customer service. Thanks for watching! Definitely subscribe if you get this bike.

Hey I just got my T1 and I’m upgrading to hydraulic brakes. I’m trying to wrap my head around the motor cut off sensor with hydraulic brakes as it’s a safety feature - especially since the T1 has cruise control. The last thing I want is to be in cruise control and not be able to stop the motor, even when braking! Advice?
@TornadoGarden
@TornadoGarden Год назад
You should get line pulled hydraulic brakes... You replace only the brake caliper.. you don't have to change the brake levers or run any cables. The name brand was x-tech... And the front and back set was like 50 bucks on eBay. I used the adapter that came with the bike.. and just put the washers back in the same place on the new brake. It took about 10 minutes per wheel and they work way better than the mechanical stock brakes....way, way, way better. The motor cut off in the brake lever remains stock/unchanged and will still function normally. You can also turn off the cruise control by quickly pressing the throttle and then releasing it. Just a quick tap and the motor turns off. I've had no problem with CC getting stuck on, but I have leaned on, or accidentally hit the throttle and had the bike lurch forward. You've been warned! #cyaontheroad

so would you say Fiido is a decent brand from china? Im considering the L3. Worried about all the battery danger news.
@TornadoGarden
@TornadoGarden Год назад
Fiido is tops of my recommended brands. They have better pricing and accessories than Rad. Fiido uses the same battery packs as other major scooter and bike brands. I have 8000+ miles on my battery, as I use it on both of my bikes. Fiido continues to improve designs, with every model, and does so based on riders feedback. They get two thumbs up on service and quality. 👍 👍 I did consider the L3 for its compact nature and mileage. I chose the T1 for top speed and cargo capacity. No matter what EV you get, I bet you'll ride with a smile! #CyaOnTheRoad!

Hello. How many hours do you need to charge Fiido's battery from 0 to 100%? And what do you think about buying the second battery and take it both for long trip?
@TornadoGarden

Eight hours to fully charge from zero. I think carrying the charger is easier than carrying a second battery on a long road trip. If I was doing lots of deliveries, having a second battery charged and ready would be ideal.

What do you think or maybe you know, is there an option to buy a stronger charger for this battery and charge it faster or this is too danger for the battery?
@TornadoGarden
@TornadoGarden Год назад
@@wincentyaderberowicz It only has one charging port. Scooters with much larger batteries sometimes have two ports for faster charging. Fiido does sell a 23ah battery for their D3 model. It appears to be in the same case as the T1 battery. I would check compatibility with Fiido before ordering. I wouldn't be comfortable using a different charger than the one provided from the manufacturer.

Hello, thank your for your content, I'm really considering purchasing this bike and I want to ask you a question, do you think a seat for a child can fit on the back/front?, from the videos I've seen the backframe seems larger than the ones I see on bikes everyday and I couldnt find a mounting accessory for the T1. thanks a lot
@TornadoGarden
@TornadoGarden Год назад
The rear deck is 16"x 6.5". There are plenty of places to attach to the frame and room for a seat. Some kids seats are made to straddle a rear bike racks, so just check them for 6.5" of clearance. Rad city makes a 2 kid rear seat with safety rails, but I'm not sure about the attachment points matching the T1. If you have to be creative with attaching a seat, I recommend stainless steel hose clamps.
