Are you purposely omitting all the other woke, semi-nude, screeching overpaid pop song breeding hens like GaGa, Swift and so many others whose names I don't care to remember how to spell?
@Irene Are you telling me that on top of all the high frequency, mind-numbing, woke nonsense noise we have to now put up with exclusiveness as well? I always thought the love for music was a muse free of geographical boundaries...
@Irene OMG! Information overload! But most of it I knew already... What I didn't know was that the post was made by a European, didn't know that was an issue. Btw... and this is just between you and I, I've known all along that our esteemed brothers and sisters from the American continent look down on Eurovision because, well... it's just not 'Merican' - that's why they don't like Beethoven either. Yet non-Americans like myself listen quite happily to typical American Country music of all kinds if it doesn't include the word God...😁 -true story jsyk. Irene... you didn't really think that the animosity from our esteemed brothers and sisters from the 'best country in the world' toward Pop and Rock from Europe had eluded my attention? And now to the bombshell revelation that I forgot to announce: I actually never watch Eurovision because I really think I suffer mildly from autism and all that glitz and glimmer and noise is a bit too much for me, the horror... But I know one thing about Eurovision and that is that Abba made there debut of sorts there and purely from a musical point of view, ignoring the the make up, silly clothes and stage show aaaand the lyrics, their songs are incredibly sophisticated. Sadly, as usual, most people only know 'Waterloo' and 'Money Money Money' - the songs that were played on the radio. To sum up, personally I really don't care where artists come from or what language they sing in, music IS without boundaries and speaks the language of us humans and I think also some other animal species. Amen! ....oops 😇 Be well and keep listening to Jethro Tull and Adriano Celentano 😜🎶
@@ricklee5431 Why are so many people from Europe pissed off at Americans? We have been listening to your music for decades. I personally enjoy watching European buskers because they still play good tunes. A lot of the American music is just country/pop crap. ✌🏻
This is meant as a compliment. The vocals really remind me of Shania Twain. You Ladies are amazing with such a wide range of musical influences #rockon
Great job with Stamp On It. Awesome song kinda of bluesy but also rocks right along. I really enjoy watching these ladies play guitar. I can tell they are feeling great and enjoy playing. These ladies work hard on their talents and it shows in their gigs. You ladies are very talented hard working musicians. GOD bless you 3 ladies on your Dea Matrona musical journey. 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 DEA MATRONA 🥁 🎸 🎸
My gosh - they’ve surfaced! We can breathe again, say goodbye to nervous hives and excess sugar, as earth again begins to rotate. Hyper-talent doesn’t begin to describe the capabilities and nuance of these young ladies. Thanks to the parents for immersing them in homes filled with music.
By far the best tempo for this song. The very cool distinct base blurs a bit when sped up on this track. I'd imagine this tempo could also be a cool reset button for the band to control adrenaline.👍
Dear Dea Matrona, Thank you for your kind invitation. If I were 40 years younger, I would be delighted to attend. I think, however, that this is an event for people of your own age. Good luck with your career.
I'm the idiot that gave them a thumbs down. They can do better. I been a musician for 62 years, I think I know what I'm talking about. If you like this song I'm sure you would like the Archie's. POP on
@@nonpatriot8863 Yes patriot I do have criticisms of Dea Matrona, I am also a fan and think they can do better than this latest single. I also buy their merchandise and promote them. Directly to your point, yes I am old and I have lamented that my time is short. At least I won't have to put up with intolerant, narrow minded people such as yourself. Now you can go back to playing with your little war videos. Don't you have anything better to do?
Well OK....here we go.....that's a hit in all senses of the word.....I hope you ladies are ready for the next phase.....please, please keep your heads on straight....you've worked so hard to get here and now here you are....peace to you from the hills of Donegal....
I can't believe that a record company haven't signed you up. You are 3 very talented and professional young ladies who deserve a big break, thanks for all the videos and Stamp on It is a great song. Keep up the hard work.
A lot of people have been suggesting covers for them- I personally would like to acquaint them with the Dwight Twilley songbook- but the truth is that they have evolved as any good band does, devoting themselves to original material. I have bought everything they've released since the Orlaith and Mollie EP and I'm here to testify that they have proven incapable of writing a song that is not all-out catchy. Their looks will open doors but it's the hooks that will break them out in the world. Their chops and production are right on target, plus they have the intangibles: charm, confidence and an obvious joy in their friendship.
Wow, thats who i thought about as well. I think i actually recommended Looking for the magic to Mollie a few years back ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Voa_7sLL7dQ.html
It’s very rare and refreshing to hear real music played by today’s young musicians! I am soooooo proud of this group and will support them. These ladies are very talented and they play real music using “real instruments” and not just some software interface. How cool is that for a change? Not to mention, that they individually play multiple instruments! Keep up the good work ladies! You are very unique and so special.
You girls have such talent. Well brought up too, Thanks to your parents for that. And you have such a great PR team too. That aside I love your music and obvious enthusiasm for the rock era music. However when are we going to hear you on UK radio channels? BBC won't be interested as they only want hip hop, RapCrap. Anyway I will keep following your wonderful rock covers and superb self compositions. You are such a breath of inspiration to old guys like me. God bless you girls. You will be such stars
@@nstrug I live in England so BBC Ulster not on my radar. I don't like 6Music either. Too much weird stuff. I listen to Radio2 which would have been the ideal vehicle for DM but practically no guitar bands anymore, replaced by hiphop rubbish to the exclusion of their target audience of over 45s. They still manage to squeeze in Noel G and Texas though so I live in hope of DM also featuring as Record of the Week.
@@Gary-hj2lc plenty of over-45s listening to hip hop. I’m 51 and grew up with Grandmaster Flash, Run DMC, Beastie Boys etc, alongside the Pixies, Smiths, Stone Roses and many others. It pays to have a broad taste in music.
I'll at some point (hopefully sooner rather than later) will be saying that I knew of these girls before they went proper global... I will be so honoured and happy to be able to say that... You ladies are just absolutely on a different planet when it's comes your talent, considering your age... So refreshing and great to see....
I have to disagree to a point. Yes thr quality in production is a little better. But they start to lose that raw charm that they have when they go to far. People are sick and tired of the over produced crap the music industry is pushing out now. That's why people are finding and loving bands like this. Real instruments and real music is back unless you are 14 and listen to crap. Some of the best music ever was the bands first album or two. Then the music industry always wants to take the unique sound a band has. The sound that people loved bevause it was new and exciting. Then then dumb it down and try to make it for the masses. Just to line thier pockets and the music suffers. I wonder alot what the music would sound like today of they bands were allowed to keep thier music the way they want.
@@kennethlaw5216 Sadly I have to agree with you. The sound just doesn't have enough room to breathe, most of the dynamic is gone. It's a shame because I otherwise really like the song, like their other original material (and that sweet "Gloria" cover). They need their creative control back. Trying to cram such a retro-sounding band into the taste _du jour_ is just not a good idea.
Agreed. Huge jump up. I was thinking how they need to record and produce in an LA studio to really capture their talent. But this sounds much better than some earlier stuff.
Look at all the covers these ladies have done, it's always songs from back then. They are bringing the old pop/rock vibe into modern music. Kind of similar to what the Larkin Poe sisters are doing with the vintage blues. LP have to be the only band ever that have both an 50s Rickenbacker labsteel and modern sampling sounds in their studio recordings.
@@John_Hazeldene I have about $70 iTunes credit. So I am buying. I just hope the girls get a good cut. Apple should allow all money to go to new artists on iTunes. Apple doesn't need it. Edit: Got it.
I hope you ladies carry on with the format you have and not have to go to anyTV "talent show" to get the recognition you deserve. Any record label with any knowledge of the real music business would be fools not to develop your talent for the masses. I wish you all the luck for the future and hope to see you in one of your forthcoming worldwide tours.
Been telling as many folk as I can about you - I think you are such a breath of fresh air right now, great musicians, great numbers and the looks to go with it. Keep in rockin' girls!!
