@@MrBiggoolie I never knew of them till my boss "introduced" me... Stuck in Germany on business for years I would "crash his family place". Drunk we would sing along and have great evenings, even the kids danced. Great memories and ended up searching for as many albums as I could find... :)

Just spent a wonderful trip down memory lane, from the student's Union to Glasgow's SECC. Never got the recognition they deserved and yet they are still going & still sound fabulous!

Spine tinglingly good performance from DB- check out the whole concert on DVD ( singles collection). It stands as testament to the immense talent of this band. I have seen them many times live and it is a privilege to listen to them every time. I really wish I had been at the SECC performances ( filmed over two nights in December 1989) as it is the greatest live performance I have heard.

great band one of the best they seemed to be classed as just below the best bands in the 80,s and 90,s for some reason and I never got that .For me Simple Minds and Deacon Blue are the best bands

Some memories!! I was in that crowd at the SECC (Dec 1990 I think) and I still remember the electric atmosphere with the whole Glasgow crowd singing along. They were known by many as 'the 80s pop band who did Real Gone Kid' but their live shows back then were something else. Great to find this.

She did of sorts, she had a band called Cub in the late 90's, they did a handful of gigs at most and recorded some stuff. It was never released. Believe it or not, she wasn't very confident being the front person. You'd never know given her stage performance in DB and later in theatre. She decided it wasn't for her and stopped.
