This type of praying is what got our people out of bondage and institutional segregation. And afterwards. I don't even think deacons kneel on their knees anymore. But we need this type of praying now more than ever. Thank you for this.
I hear some people would say that this deacon is praying too long but I'm here to tell you when you have good praying like this, it's never too long. Thank you sir!
My Father was a Deacon, I used to watch him and other Deacons hold prayer like this before Service every Sunday. I miss you Daddy. Your daughter has since become a Minister.
Both Grandfather's were Deacons and Prayed like this 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏 Father later in life became a Pastor after life of Crime I'm in Process now of my Exodus and I use these old prayers and gyms for inspiration ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I definitely agree... It was so spiritually uplifting to hear, that I made it a mission to MIME to it...ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-npqQaSGN2Sk.html
Oh My God, a real connection with the Lord, Prayers went past the ceiling and straight to the Throne of God. They did it and thats where we should be , i pray all of us get and stay connected
This is the type of prayer that moves broken hearts and spirits what a blessing to have Deacons to pray like this someone deserves to hear this that’s deep in sin and a prayer like that can make a unbeliever become a believer in Jesus name
broncofangj Why is it that the church has stay in the old and traditional way of everything. But no one is saying we need to go back to flip phones and dial up internet....

Thank you Lord. A prayer of humility realizing who God is and who we are in Him. A prayer of thanksgiving coming from the bro.'s own heart. We pray according to the will of God and when we don't know it we cry out to God and the Holy Spirit of God will make intercession for us taking our prayer and giving it to God the way it ought to be.
Pray On Rev.....I grew up on the kind of praying in Mobile, Alabama....Nazaree Baptist Church, where the Rev Joseph Blair was the pastor. He has since passed away.
I know this Deacon he came to my church to help train me and a few other soon to be deacon, I learned a lot from this. Mann of God. Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale area
This is genuine upright" spirit of the Holy Ghost is present" blessing from heaven has come down" this is a Angel from Our Heavenly Father"...............He"s sanctified" feel with the Holy Ghost
We would have more deacons like this, if today's churches focused on the Gospel and spiritual life; retained the GOOD practices, customs and traditions of the Black Church heritage; and focused on increasing BIBLICAL knowledge instead of chasing every fad, every "fad doctrine" and emphasizing "get your prosperity". We need to allow *time for prayer* and *time for worship*, instead of "endless talk", *endless remarks* and non-stop talking while people are freely rejoicing. We can *stop narrating* services; we should follow our orders of worship without endless "talking in-between." Then our deacons and deaconesses would have *time to pray,* instead of being forced to truncate prayers to make time for the next set of endless talking. 1. We could start by jettisoning the modern trashy, screaming, pop-style, so-called "gospel music" and bringing back the *hymns*, *Black spirituals*, and the *traditional Black Gospel choral music* of the 1950's--1970's. Our music could be paced at *more moderate speeds*, so that we avoid super- slow funeral-paced dragging and avoid breakneck speeds that turn the church into Olympic sprint tracks. 2. We could stop screaming and start *singing* again. We should stop all the senseless "I want to be a star" nonsense in our music ministries and train choirs and instrumentalists to be *worshipers* instead of ego-driven performers who use church music to merely train for their so-called "real career" in the pop music arena. We should emphasize to parents and the community at large that our churches are for *worshiping God*, and we are *not interested* in training your child's voice and developing their talents for their next record deal. We should direct people with secular interests for their child to secular voice teachers/coaches and secular studios. 3. We could train our choirs and soloists to *start clearly enunciating* the *words*, finishing all the *consonantal endings of the words* so that the *MESSAGE* of the music, which is the *heart* of the music, is clearly *heard and understood.* We should encourage ALL the congregation and ALL the choir to bring their own percussion instruments to church and have EVERYONE obey the psalms, to "make a joyful noise". We need to restore all our good prayer and worship customs and leave behind the sonic trash of the world.
You are right our peoples were serious about Church back in the day GOD has been so good to us some has forgotten their first Love,we have to go back to our first Love that is JESUS CHRIST
Yes we need this kind of pray in our church Because young people some. Don't even know how to pray🎉 This the kind pray Deacon did when I was coming up at that I didn't like it But I. Enjoy it now amen❤
God is calling his church and his bride back to her knees in prayer. This is the real deal and no man or demin can stop the power and the presence of the Holy Ghost
Yes it is I grew up under one of the greatest Pastors,Robert Walker Senior and he had a Deacon Board that when devotion was over you could go home that was CHURCH,
@JIMMIE STATEN PRAY ON, SAINTS! What church was this and where is it located? I love fervent, old-time prayer that goes back to our roots in slavery times, and before that in Mother Africa....thanks so much for uploading this! I love the part where he prays: "GUIDE MY MIND!" We need this EVERY church on Sunday morning...
You re right--he DOES sound like a preacher! It is always good to hear men of God praying sincerely and FERVENTLY, and not rushing the prayer....we need this man praying over the White House! :-)
@Bro. Morris See what I wrote to JazzLife1 on this page....I think all Black Churches should get back to our older music and worship traditions and customs....including extended prayer. Then we'd have a really *spiritual, Bible-centered* and *Jesus-focused* church instead of an arena for secular pop-styled trashy music and *extended talkamony!* :-)
Prayer is extremely important and Powerful 🌷to our Sweet Jesus. Satan is the Grand Accuser who needs to be expelled and cast out. Pray unceasingly for God's Grace, Favor & Mercy upon your life and others.
