I really love this Dead America in NYC series! For some reason, Zombie apocalypse stories are never based in NYC, which is a dammed shame as there is so much potential for story telling. This series is the first that I have found. And this story starts out with one of the most chilling scenarios! Imagine an overcrowded dance club, where the plague manifests in one patron. She rises as a zombie, kills, her victim rises and kills, etc. Most of the crowd in the club don't even know what is wrong. Good, kind people rush to help and are the first to die. Cops, EMT's , firemen, medical people, all among the first to die. The very people that the public would look to for help and direction---all dead in the first wave of the plague. Imagine NYC nightlife----crowded bars, streets, restaurants, movie theaters, Broadway theaters, auditoriums, concerts----all packed with people as the first zombies appear. Is it any wonder that the city was overwhelmed so fast? And seriously: if I ever get stuck in a zombie apocalypse, I hope I am not in a sparkly party dress and heels, like the protagonist.

I love that you use so much detail in your stories and you describe it In a colorful way, if I had a lot of money I’d help produce a movie imagine a dead America movie , as a teen I read the world war z book and loved it even tho it skipped some annoying details I wish the movie was better but with your stories I could see something more successful then the walking dead

I loved it! Your characters are always so well written they feel like real people. I hope we meet justin and peyton later on. I was terrified they wouldn't escape the city. 😅

Hey I love this series. I'm a Zombie audiobook lover. Suggestion for future stories: it'd be cool to see mutated zombies. For example some zombies that are smarter than others can be really scary. Maybe a research facility that inadvertently creates zombies that are more organised, or actively hunting and track our protagonists. The CrawlerZ series has some cool ones.

These type of zombie stories are alway interesting, i wonder if there going to be a high school one. There rarely zombie stories set in a high school, would be interesting. I can definitely see a zombie attack happen during a football game, being seen from a cheerleader's perspective.

You know i always wondered how come we don't see any mention of animals in this series, like even if the virus doesn't affect animals, they never come across dogs barking or Dog corspes in the street, unless the undead just ignore them (Dawn of the dead remake style). I'm very curious if we'll see zombie dogs in the future

I love these stories based in NYC. How about a story about a radio station, or a major tv studio in the early hours of the plague outbreak? They would get scattered reports of riots and chaos, but be unable to conform. Anyone they send out to get more news does not return. Or how about a story from the point of view of a subway worker, driver, or dispatcher? What about a collection of short stories from the point of view of all the people getting up for work, to find that they slept through the end of the world?
