Hardly know what to say - I'm one of the original Deadheads - lived at Waller and Ashbury - one of my best friends owns 712 Ashbury - right next door to the old Dead house at 710. Been in there many times - and it BLOWS MY MIND to drop out of earth orbit and wind up at the bottom of those stairs once again - never imagined any such. Saw my first of 200+ shows at 17 - I'm 72 now - I pretty much grew up under the mirrored ball at Winterland. I promise you - all the years combine - and they melt into a dream. SO glad I got on the bus all those years ago. All the best to all of you...
i am an old timer going back to the hippie daze in la having focalized the griffith park love-ins to later inventing myself as the yippie pie thrower in the East village!!!At 74, i am still keeping the faith!!! Don't sell out to the MAGA MAGGOTS OF BABYLON!!! GET YOUR ASS OUT TO VOTE!!!!

I saw the Grateful Dead at Watkins Glen, NY, in 1972. It was a one day concert. They came on stage at noon and played for 5 hours, then The Band came on, interrupted by a rainstorm, then the Allman Brothers played, then all 3 bands jammed to well past 3am.
@@davidp7178 Yeah I think you are right, it was 1973, but you know what they say about the 1970s: "If you remember the 70s, then you weren't doing it right".
Deus .. como queria poder ir nesse show maravilhoso. É uma pena que nossa moeda está tão desvalorizada. Pagamos 5x mais caro que nossos irmãos do norte. Parabéns aos que foram e tiveram essa experiencia incrível.
I have two free tickets for tomorrow night for a grateful fan. My Dad and I can’t go now because of a sudden illness so I want to miracle a couple people. F
@@christheghostwriterI did bro, actually ended up hooking up the son of the guy who turned me onto the scene and did it well… he is in the spirit world now, my dear brother Jeffery RIP.
Agreed Bob singing any Jerry parts just sounds out of place. Him singing his own songs, dylan covers, etc great. Also dont mind anyone else singing Jerry but you just know its not Bobs turn!
it was kind of a ruff start but once they got in to the swing it got better still had that cover band vibe though no way around it opening with looking at all the strangers on the stage was appropriate opening song I still go again still had a good time SHERBET it's the dead after all
@@christheghostwriter it's not important but as a person who saw the Dead many times prior to Brent's death I just can't help but feel especially with ticket prices what they are that this is not exactly the direction it should have gone. Obviously just my opinion.
@@chrisbergmanniii59 and it was very important that you find a clip some stranger posted on the Internet so you can tell other strangers about your delicate feefees? You know what I do when I see a clip from a band I don't like? Nothing. I do nothing.
