DEAD BY APRIL: Dreamlike // REACTION 

Been listening to these guys for about 12 years now. Easily one of my favourite bands. They've been pretty consistent with their sound throughout all of their albums: metalcore/post-hardcore meets pop and electronic. Some of their songs are heavier than others. This is one of their more laid back singles. Out of all the singles for their upcoming album, 'Anything at All' and 'Wasteland' are some of the better ones. They've gone through several line-up changes over the years. The original clean and unclean vocalist Jimmie Strimell was kicked out of the band twice, the second time being in 2020. The guitarist in the video doing the verses has pretty much been part of the band since formation and has been doing the lead clean vocals for the band since 2017. The vocalist doing the chorus is the band's recent scream vocalist, having joined in 2020. He's been experimenting with his vocals and has begun doing more clean vocals here and there. He's also part of another band called dEMOTIONAL, which play a similar style to Dead by April, and they are extremely underrated.

Yeah judge them on a slower ballad then say it’s a slow song and bash it? Come on man you guys need to listen to more than one song on the album.

Its about time a US Reaction folks did a DBA song. There are so many good ones and they get no credit here in the states. FYI they have plenty of heavier tunes.

If you guys like them (this is one of dead by Aprils slower songs) you should check out dEmotional they are harder than this, the man who screaming in dead by april is the same in both bands. dEmotional lend him to them when their previous screamer left the band. If i remember correctly in top of my head his name is chris and it's pontus that is singing and playing guitar. Please give dEmotional a chance, nice reaction. Both bands are from Sweden

Another good band. Been listening to them since their first album. I would compare them to being a "heavier" Linkin Park.
