My main is Jane, I was scared before seeing the result, but she is even more beautiful than before! I looked quickly, but I think they haven't touched the rest of her cosmetics, unfortunately

Thank you for your comment! I tried to do the best I could to make the best comparison video possible, unfortunately I'm not an editing pro so not everything is perfect. As for the characters who do not have an optimal position, I agree

@@IdonotSEEYOU You're welcome. The character I am mainly talking about is Claudette, she's my main. In game, you can turn them towards the camera and it should work for her because she doesn't turn as much but still looks to the side by default

From Nancy, I did not notice any differences for the other survivors except slightly for Cheryl and Cybil, but they are not listed in the patch-note like others. If it's asked a lot I could do part 2 with the other survivors, and with variations of cosmetics for the survivors already shown in this video

Pretty sure Jill is slightly shinier in the PTB. Not a major change(hardly any change honestly)but still a change lol

other than the ones in the patchnotes: jeff had significant face, hair and facialhair changes jane has slightly darker skin yui's face was significantly changed (i think her eyes seem to have been completely redone) cheryl's hair is blonde instead of yellow, and people say her eyebags are gone but i dont think so. cybil's face and hair was completely redone (she looks amazing) yunjin has a more blank face rather than her previous 'angry' or stern face.

TBH, I'm still attached to the old ones because they look more realistic.

I like the old ones hair cause the texture looks weird now. I think the bloody clothing was better before it’s meant for hiding and now it’s bright. My poor clauds hair looks horrendous 😢. Also for yui and feng they made them look like man for some reason.

She still has her wide nose, her protruding forehead, her slim eyebrows and wonky lips. She simply got smoothed around the eyes and got some better shading done. She still looks like Nea, just better. Just like any other survivor. I don't see her being conventionally pretty, that's more Kates thing, and try to tell me they look similar... ^^'

I just saw your comment! 👀 I think some people were complaining because they were simply used to olds models, so when it were changed ; it felt weird. To me, the new apparences are mostly better; but some of the old ones remain iconic of the original DbD ; and are better thanks this point.

@@IdonotSEEYOU I stand heavily by the phrase don't let nostalgia blind you. Sure, there's a lot of nostalgia that old DBD might create to those who've played it, but graphically and gameplay wise, the game is in a significantly better state than it used to be. Shitting on it cause you don't want things to change, seems a little harsh on the devs, who are actively working to make those improvements for us to enjoy.

I think feng looks better now before she looked like a 40 year old when i used her with standard hairs i was only using her with makeup in her face that was not cute but they ruined kate she is no more beautifull..

It's the editing of the video that makes them look taller, the devs haven't touched the size

I don't think this addition will happen, it would take a lot of work and I don't think the community would welcome any new animations given what happened with the news of this year

Yeah, they messed up her eyes. They look red and have a weird animation where one is squinted and the other is not. Also, looks like they pop out in the lobby to me.

Although I like the new model. If we look closely the facial animation makes Jane look weird it looks like she is grimacing, hope that will be fixed

For the most part, the update got positive feedback, with some exceptions for Feng and Kate. Not to be that girl to bring that stupid argument, but: If you are one of the few that don't like the direction DbD is heading towards, no one forces you to stick around. It happens with a lot of games. A lot of us WANT it to be more realistic. And if that's something you'd disagree on, you're better off with Identity V or a game like that. 😅

@@LunaTheLoon just the legends going understand the problem, new players doesn’t give a shit cuz they gonna eat all the new stuff, they totally fucked up my boy ace also….making game realistic that has magic in with perks where you can sprint fast after falling down, heal yourself after all gens done, like yk all doesn’t make sense cuz it’s a different world and it doesn’t have to be realistic really, it’s just dumb i think, ofc people like to see some new stuff, but i think it’s a bit too much, it’s about hiding and timing in this game, so animation and all that is just waste of a time, something extra in the game but really doesn’t have to be inside

@@sawplay_girl2147 speak for yourself. I've played this game since release, and I'm perfectly happy with the game, aside from the occasional bug or issue. But one thing I was not happy with were the outdated graphics and animations. So for me, this brings the game to a whole new level. It doesn't hurt players who think like you and it really is great for players who think like me, so I don't see any kind of issue.
