Everyone was telling me 2BC was gonna be really hard, but it’s my favourite balance so far! Although I haven’t had much luck on 3BC, I know I need to get better at it in order to progress, so thanks for this!
I think it's because they reworked the difficulty curve, before this reworked the limitation of flask only before boss was in 2BC, for me it's what it make the run really hard
Agreed 5BC and 2 BC are my favorite modes. 5BC is just broken Damage on any weapon, and 2 BC is just comfort health items. If you can play fast malaise doesn't hurt you, and elites let you use giant killer more for survival players out there.
So hyped, I just almost quit dead cells because of the reasons you said so accurately in the first 20 seconds. Good video and I'd love to see more content for all boss cells!!

Absolutely agree with unlocking more items to supplement your builds. I was too focused on speedrunning and collecting all the boss cells once I got to 3BC and I couldn't make it out with so little items unlocked. 3BC is a good time to start looking for blueprints using custom mode and increase your inventory so that you can be more flexible in the builds you can go for. I almost have all non-5BC exclusive and mutations and can't wait to beat 4BC.

i AM SO GLAD I RANDOMLY DECIDED TO WATCH THIS. I thought your mutations had to line up with your primary color. So I've been skipping predator on stuff like snake fangs and going no mercy instead because I thought that purple snake fangs wouldnt benefits from the brutality mutations (or wouldn't scale as well).
Over time fighting conjunctivius, I've learned that the tentacles prioritize targeting turrets over the player, so that's how you probably messed up the no hit
Idk if someone has mentioned it before, but in 3BC+, the hunter’s grenade gives you one scroll to each color. That is HUGE! It basically doubles your health in the early game and gives you 15% more DPS. So if you are struggling with the early game in high BC, just buy the hunter’s grenade in the first biome and keep it as a passive buff. This item can carry you to the first boss. Then you can simply drop it for a good skill in the late game.
@@gudegudemeh5195 I haven’t played Dead Cells for several months, but I’ve heard that the dev removed the scrolls from the hunter’s grenade in recent update……
My deadcells experience summed up. Destroys everything in the biome with good synergies parrying and movement. Falls into spike or rolled into rocket losing 99.99% health.
My advice for the 2+ bc always find giantkiller , only buy items from shops in cavern and master parry skill (I also got the 4th boss cell from the giant which was surprising)
Dealed with him pretty easily with DOT-build with MNB and Barbed Tips. Screwed up on the damn Hand of the King even while having disengagement and almost all X-tier weapons
@@atomickarate5395 damn, I even used Mutiple knock bows and barbed tips and defeated giant but couldn’t no hit it, but I died against the HoTK very quickly cause I can’t react to his attacks, so maybe I should predict his attacks next time
@@op-gp it's funny, cuz I always begin the game with the intention to use giant killer or maybe katana, but then i understand that the fellas in the cavern will not be impressed by the dps of these things
Rampager is easy. What make 3bc was so hard due to A lot of enemy in one room segment and remember you can't bait these enemies with line of sign agro like in 4bc, where they introduce teleporting enemy to chase you down. Imagine in one room where you are getting cursed you need to go a segment where there are million rats, catcher, kamikaze, swarm zombie, cannibal all being invisible by masker. Then inquistors shooting you from mars. You can't use you Homunculus head to kill one by one from outer segment.
i was having trouble with 2BC before this update, beat it after a few more attempts. 3BC i beat it relatively quickly and now im stuck on 4BC lol. taking a break from 4BC and going back to collect blueprints ive missed
I just have slightly under 100 runs and 34 hours and I got 3bc :( I think I'm a little bit rushed, because I have not that much items and skill (for parrying for example). What should I do??

Yo, I didn't realize that I beat 3BC in the first run on that BC and now I have enable the 4BC. Im not bragging, I just realized when entered the video lol The build I use in that run (maybe it is bad, but it did it well for me): 🅱️rutality The boy's axe (no ammo mutation) Bloodthirsty shield Lacerating aura Cleaver Mutations: Disangagement - for feel safe when Im low health Vengeance - for more DPS (at the end) Soldier resistant - for more health (30k HP) (at the end) I finished with 30 - 6 - 6
I think my game is broken. I play 5BC and, for example, items on level VII have a bonus damage of 250% and all legendary items below 100%. Additionally, I am unable to find a few items that I have unlocked during the game. Any ideas? pls help!
Legendaries have been reworked this patch. They lost their S rank properties (the bonus % damage and some affixes, worth 6 item levels). So for example a normal item that's level V - S is equal to an unupgraded item level XI. This means legendaries are weaker at first, but they also scale with two stats now, which is making them much stronger than normal items in the lategame. When you get a legendary item, focus on your main stat and only one secondary, rather than both.
Not very hard imo. Just do run as always. You must go to the giant because he give you 5th boss cell. If u struggle with the cavern. Go to forgotten since this biome has access to fight giant and time keeper.

I don't know man People say that 2BC prepares you for 3BC And it might be because my hardware is weak so there's lag Or simply because of the break I took in between But I find 3BC much more difficult The damage is insane and health is scarce

I suck so much at this game. It has been 7 months since am stuck with 3BC and honestly it's just not fun anymore. I have all DLCs, I like the game but I can't progress because am garbage to learn simple patterns 🗿 I don't know if am the only onein this case, but for me Dead cells is the most infuriating and frustruating game I've ever played, and at the same time I like playing it, but losing half my health for a simple mistake wich I make a lot due to ADHD well no thanks.
Can you answer my question here? Why i didnt get boss stem cells after defeating the hand of the king on 2 boss stem cells do i need some dirrefrent route?
If you feel frustrated, don't shy away from using assist mode. That mode is provided to you so that you can customize the game difficulty to be fun and not punishing. The game is there to have fun, not rage over.
Since I started watching Dead Cells guides (mostly op builds), I went from 1BC to 5BC in like a week, playing with meta items is boring and using anything else is frustrating, I was gonna say just cheese the difficulties with meta builds buuut, I dunno anymore.
After I have beaten 2 BC it wasn't that big of a challange to beat 3 BC, it's really not that different. However at 4 BC I feel like the game is not a fun challange anymore so I stopped playing it completely. Are you planning on making a video about how to beat 4 BC?
I am at 2 BC and always reset if I get hit in first 2 levels. It is just not worth it. 1 hit cost you at lest 500 gold. If I got 1 hit after got the door, then yes, fine, but usually I reset. to be frank I don't think I will pass 2 BC. way too little damage output, and 80-90% of items are useless, with 1/3 of items being literally unusable. I mean sure more enemies, that hit harder, less HP but at least let me do some freaking damage. No? no damage just down sides? ok then.
I find the notion, that legendary forge is useless utter bullshit! Yes, synnergy matters, in fact, if you want better affixes for your weapons, the forge is outright necessary! How the hell do you expect to kill anything in a reasonable amount of time, if you don't upgrade your gear to get better affixes to have stronger synnergies? Getting higher numbered gear, and upgrading it should be high in your priorities, unless you're willing to slog through the game at a snail's pace, while also dying multiple times! I don't know, man! That's, what my experience playing through the game feels like... If I don't have good gear, I do like no damage, and usually just die. Either your Dead Cells game is somehow different from mine, or I'm just playing the game wrong....
Time and kill doors, as well as cursed chests, have upgraded items regardless of forge levels. It's not the best solution, and the forge is still important, but it won't make or break runs most of the time.
@@karlhnedkovsky5214 you see how much he struggled in the early game with no upgraded gear, and he got lucky that he even got what he did to be able to fight back. He toughed it out and got even luckier with challenge rifts that the scrolls ended up doing the heavy lifting. Moneys whatever in this game so just spend it all on re-rolling your stuff and you can get a run going. I don't know if he just sat down, did one run and made the video out of it, but I think Luck plays an incredible factor if you're not grinding out the forge.
Bullshit. I beat 0 bc, 1 bc 3 days later, 2 bc one day after that, and now I'm getting raped on 3bc. Can't even get out of the prisoners quarters. Farthest I've gotten is the ramparts. Massive difficulty spike on 3bc. Yes I'm salty. Yes, I'm getting good. Yes, I'm gonna try again in about an hour. Shit really pissed me off.
@@alexwaldrop7875 you are playing it bad i guess. in 3bc you have a lot more scrolls to raise your stats, just do an optimal path looking at some guide
