As a kid I got Conjunctivitis in my eyes ALOT, made my summers miserable...so it's personal when I beat the Conjunctivitis Boss, take all these years of suffering you caused me!!!!
When I first found this guide, I was actually struggling with the Conceirge and a little offended that you dismissed it right at the beginning. After a couple days of playing and learning to optimize my scrolls, I realized you can basically face tank him with a brutality or survival build, a turret or two, and a shield, only needing a couple parries if any. Then I was like "okay, now I get it."
You have inspired me to start playing the game again! I burnt out on maxing out the forge on ps4 and switch around the time when bad seed dlc was released. Guess i'll have to figure out which platform i'll continue on haha
@@frederik1q590 Haha I think once I feel comfortable with the difficulty, Im pretty confident and can get pretty far. I think I just play generally very patiently but I know when it's safe to go in for an attack.
when fighting the time keeper, on my first try, i just put as much scrolls in brutality as i could and got twin daggers and pure nail that do 4k+ damage and just spammed tonics and grenades for the + damage after using a skill and killed it in less than 30s lmao
I feel like I go to concierge so few times that he's the only boss who can consistently hit me more than once, I don't have enough practice dealing with it.
Pseychie can you make build with Heavy Crossbow and Ice Burn (i played dead cells different language i dont this mutations english name) mutation? If you Heavy Crossbow have a -On kill slows near enemies that would be a great combo. Can you try it?
The kings hand is absolute bs, i was stacked, dodged everything i could and i still got robbed by the 1 zombie that remained on the field, hit me, got me stunned long enough for him to push me into the only deathflag that didnt get destroyed. Its so ass
There IS a time limit on the enemy phase however it's reeeally loong also this enemy phase ends not on all enemies dying but all elites dying so there's that
6:21 - The shockwave itself can't be parried, as you said, but funny enough, the slam can be parried, which is fun to go for, but it has to be very precise. 6:49 - The right side is a lot safer, as no crystals actually fall down there, so you can just chill if you want a safe fight. You still have to react to other attacks there, but a lot of times, it's much easier than on the left. Also you didn't even mention what happens when all three crystals on each pauldron light up. It may not be a problem on most builds, but low scroll counts and bad builds are a thing even on 4 and 5bc, especially now that so many have reached it with easy frost combos, which simply don't work on him. There are ways to avoid those very easily as well, which might have been worth including. (Lmao ranking the Giant equal to Scarecrow) 18:19 - I can only speak for myself here, because that's how I play, but I don't look for exclamation points at all. I react slightly delayed based on the particles that appear between the beheaded and the boss, and for me that's way easier. For anyone who may not like the exclamation point placement here, as it's very far up the screen, try this instead.
I honestly think the scarecrow would be the hardest boss if it wasn’t for the spoiler boss’ insane health and damage. However, I’ve fought the giant and the spoiler boss much more than the scarecrow (coz the giant gives way better loot and my build tends to be better for the giant), so I feel like if I had more practice with him I would see him as easier
@@justinthyme5263 i hate scarecrow mostly because he is so ... fast. there is never time to get hits in and your hp bar dissapears. ive had good runs against him but i died because i had no time to heal
for those who are struggling with conceirge, use traps, it can't jump (in the first 2 phases) so wolf traps will always work, and senew/double-crossbow matic are good for dps and lets you focus on dodging while the turrets deal all the damage for you, just remember to refresh them every now and then. now if you are having trouble on conceirge then you probably still only have no BSC and by extenstion, not many items available to you so i hope this helps!
Another thing if you spartan sandals kick clock master ( or whatever the bosses name is) and keep hitting her the stun won't allow her to move and go the the second phase which gives you the cleanest W of all bosses. Another thing using the pure nail and downward hitting HotK you cheese the boss (trust me it works i beat 2bc with 0 flasks with this strat) Edit: you might want to practice it in the training area
@@racoonpriest6647 Had to try this out in the training area and oh my god you are right, she literally cant attack at all once you get her to one of the walls. However sometimes she will teleport away which makes it a bit scary if you are trying to go for no damage.
@@coolwolf506 no problem i love this game have been playing it for 3 years i like to tell people about cool strats, also you can use freeze bombs on clock master and then retry the stun lock
A quick tip- the spider rune is surprisingly useful against a lot of bosses. You can spider rune away from conjonctivius's tentacles if you need breathing room, you can spider rune up the wall to avoid timekeeper's shurikens, you can use it for breathing space against the scarecrow, and if you have the proper mobility, you can spider rune to escape the crystal rain from the giant and hop back to the arena. The concierge, mama tick, and HotK all have no walls(save for the spike pits for HotK). The collector, oddly enough, is capable of knocking you off the wall. If you're clinging to the wall when his syringe thrust hits it, you'll be stunned for a surprisingly long time. Aside from that, all of his projectile attacks will hit you anyways. I guess it's useful against the enemy waves, but it's better to just kill them. Also, something worth noting- the collector only has four rooms, the first one, the enemy one, the spike wall one, and the telescope one. When he's in the first room, he only uses melee attacks(thrust, ground pound, beyblade, etc.). Second room is the enemy spawner, and in the third, he only uses ranged attacks(beams, tornados, bootleg sun). When you return to the first room, he'll summon a spike ball. Every return to this room summons an additional orb(no clue if there's a limit). When you return to the enemy spawner room, he'll summon stronger enemies, like stuff ypu'd see in the Cavern. And when you return to the projectile room, tornados will be at the walls. When he's in the last room, he can use all his attacks, simple enough.
1:28 That's my biggest gripe with Mama Tick, if you don't use a shield, there is a random chance of not getting the no hit fight, and it's out of players control. That makes me not want to go the morass route a lot of times...It sucks!
For the mama tick vertical scythes, you can back up, roll into the attack, and mash parry if you have a shield for an easy counter. Also, if you’re playing tactics and fighting conji, take crow’s foot as one of your mutations, it will destroy the tentacle phase.
If you ever have troubles with collectors' light beam attack where he's in the air, kinda like the librarians. Use the phaser skill. As soon as you see him fly into the air to do the attack, use the phaser skill because it will stun the collector and end the attack.
12:23 I always try to kill worms the last if I have any kind of bomb reflecting weapon because you can deal a L O T of damage to hand of the king with worm's bombs
After fighting him many times, I would say nah. His attacks are much faster than HotK, and there are really no safe spots like the ice platforms in the HotK battle. He hits MUCH harder than HotK also.
The time keeper's rapid shuriken throw can be used to your advantage if you have an assault shield (the one that bashes enemies), just dash with the shield once and you deflect every single shuriken, dealing tons of damage
At 1:42 during this phase i found that if you have the assault shield you can stop her from ever attacking by hitting her with the assault shield when you see she is about to attack i think this is because the assault shield stuns her cancelling the attack this was how i beat her on my first try
My main issue with the hand of the king is that he has TONS of health, but im only on 1bc. It takes me forever to get down even a third of his health. You were fighting on 5bc and he had as much health as in the training room. The only reason I can beat him in the training room is because the fight is short, but it really isn't in an actual run.
I'm on 0 BC and still can't beat HotK. I noticed that your upgrades reached to 30+ whereas I could only reach around 15+ on my runs. How is that possible?
3:48 I tried this exactly how it was explained but the tentacles always spawned on the side I was on, even when I was switching sides and wasn't switching sides and even flipping between switching and not switching sides
I managed to obtain a hitless victory for the hand of the king and for conjuctivius a for the concierge but not for the others bosses, This video helped alot i will used what i learn today on my next playtrought.
I played to much games... Why the hell i can hear every soundtrack from other games? In conjuctivius it's from enter the gungeon, in giant it's from Hades, And the track used in Scarecrow is from Isaac
"when the hand of the king moves to one side of the arena all you have to do is dodge through it" Bullshit. Idk if they've updated him. I've tried dodging I've tried parrying. The only think I haven't tried is jumping over yet. I always get pushed off into the spikes. It been so frustrating.
i defeated time keeper by... Uhmmm uhhh... Just going aggresive everytime amd didnt care too much to dodge, i was like in the middle of quarter and 1/2 of my health
I watched this when I was really new to the game and was still struggling with concierge. Mama tic ended up being easier to me for a while because there was actually a guide in here on it 😅
Tbh I accidentally got flawless on timekeeper. the first time i fought her I remember being super aggressive. I think i had the electric whip and frost blast or something.
I have started a new save slot and have never beaten the time guardian. So I Start the first run, Not having played in months. So, how far do I get? I die at Hand of the king... Had to land only one or two hits. Fml
12:31 Wrong. Dont know if it was right at the time then this vid was made but nowadays there is a limit. I speak from experience, Once the limit is over hotk will go back down and it doesnt card if there are sitll enemies, youll have to deal with both the enemies and hotk at the same time
I have figured out that when Mama tick uses her syches against the ground you can just jump up in the air and atack so that you stat up in the air. (sorry for my bad english)
i accidently one shotted The Hand of the king by just reflecting the bombs from the mob thaf dies and just drops alot of bombs, idk what the name is but its a mob from toxic sewers
I completely ran thru that first boss of the video with the nucklebuster hammer.i just sat there and went to town.1 hit would stun him.then when he came out of the water you can still just sit there and smack him.
uhm is it wierd that i struggle with the normal mobs and not the bosses like i can no hit hand of the king 6 times out of 10 but i cant do concierge or go through slumbering sanctuary without using every healing item available to me
