A recommendation try to kill atleast 30 enemies without taking damage in the levels before the first boss, after the first boss you should try to kill 60 enemies without taking damage in every level, if you didn't knew why I'm saying this it's because of challenge doors at the end of each level. Here's the location of every permanent rune:- Vine rune:- promenade of the condemned (acquired) Teleport rune:- toxic sewers Ram ruin:- ossuary Explorers rune:- forgotten sepulcher Spider rune:- slumbering sanctuary [best rune] Homonculus rune:- beat the hand of the king for the first time Customisation rune:- ramparts (acquired) Challenge rune:- beat conserge for the first time (acquired)
Hey a few things to help you 1) You dont need to pick mutations the same colour as your scroll. The mutations do become better if they are from the scrolls of your highest stats but it is fine to mix and match different colours of mutations. 2) You seem to have the idea that you need to pick the same colour of scroll but it doesnt seem the commenter who told you do so told you why, so I'll explain it. The damage scalling in dead cells is exponential, hence making it so that the mode number of scrolls you have of one colour the more your damge increasea. It is better to lose some health for damge. Also when you get a scroll that does not have the main colour you are going for I would advice you to pick up whichever gives you more health as it increases your health. 3) You should explore each and every biome completely as that will allow you to find more items, scrolls and even some content you missed. More importantly have fun playing.
I think I started noticing the big increase in damage the more I went on! Been trying my best to explore as well! Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate them!
make sure you don’t spread scroll stats and make sure you get every single scroll in each biome, it will help you a lot in dealing a lot of damage, also if you want, save your save to another slot before opening a cursed chest so you can guarantee not dying, it’s not really considered cheating but it kind of is, up to you though. Cursed chests are extremely beneficial because they give you another scroll, a new colourless weapon and some money. A RU-vidr I can recommend to learn from is Pseychie he has a beginners mistakes video which is pretty good.
I’ll probably pass on the changing save slots thing but that is a good tip. I also didn’t know all that info about the cursed chest! Thanks Zilla, I’ll try to make use of your advice!
You can teleport using those red mummies by obtaining the teleportation rune from the toxic sewer (It was the interaction between that guy behing the prison cell) If you explore it enough you find him again next to a hole that leads down where you have to takedown another elite enemy, It opens the Biome Dilapidated Arboretum from the prison cell.
Also Items from cursed chest are colorless that take your highest stat available ( If it's originally a tactic weapon but your highest stat is Brutality, It would deal damage as if it was a Brutality weapon... Same Goes for Legendary items except they have unique effects from their default counterpart(The quardian of a legendary is the one you fought in 45:20 )
Curses instantly kill you if you take ANY damage, at least untill you kill the amount of enemies the skull above your head indicates. Also, sometimes curses can be worth getting for the reward you get, but I wouldn't reccomend getting cursed early game. Also, if you read this comment, I hope you dind it helpful. :3
Hey! Thanks for the advice. Especially as a relatively new player, I’m not too sure I’ll take the risk again of taking curses anytime soon lol. Thanks for commenting, I did indeed find it helpful!
Mutation colours doesnt matte for the type of scroll you focus on. Necromance is probably my favorite mutation. I take it in any run, even though it's a survival mutation. I Would highly recommend it
Thanks Tristan! I thought the scrolls and mutations both had to be same color. I’ll make sure to check out the Necromance mutation too! Thanks for commenting!
Personally i think stilt village is the worst area in the whole game cause not only it has the least amount of enemies (means loss of coins),less scrolls but tye enemies are also tough to kill with no pay-off at first i didn't have any choice but now i almost never go here. Here's a recommendation try to get through as many levels as you can without refilling your flask and using the one you already have which means taking as less damage as possible during every level it's pay-off ain't gonna be now but the moment you get to 1BC you'll see it was worth it.
Stilt village is for sure tough, those enemies are brutal! I’ll try to keep the flask advice in mind! I do tend to make use of the flask often besides when I forget to use it in crucial moments lol. Thanks for watching!
you are making very good progress! definitely use the teleporters on the map to move around faster and also make sure you are down slamming instead of just falling down a platform because you can stun yourself if you dont, just hold down and press a to do it, hope this helps
Those are good points Raziel! I mostly have a problem with not using the down slam and getting stunned lol. I’ll try to do that instead for future episodes I record!
@@okNobleDev Yup another amazing thing to do is roll through doors because it will always stun enemies, your down slam attack also directly scales with your scrolls and also has a high breach rate meaning you will also stun enemies rather easily. :)
