That moment when JD and Veronica are fighting for the gun and JD stops her by pulling on her hair, did anyone else think of the line in dead girl walking, " slap me, PULL MY HAIR."

Can I just say I absolutely adore that you went far beyond the actual scene? The phantom of JD at the beginning, all of the effects with lighting, JD's eyes losing their red shade for a few minutes, all of the scene rotates that lead into stuff like JD overlooking the destroyed school he's describing or, and my absolute favorite, saying 'This School Was Society' as he crushes small figures in his hands into dust. Really adds a lot of personal flavor and makes the whole thing a lot more dynamic and feel like a fully fledged scene!

Notice how Veronica gets scared when JD grabs her hair as she warned us in You’re Welcome : “Not in real danger till they grab your hair” awesome attention to detail!!!

The way Veronica yelled and grabbed JD when she sang "I wish grown ups understood." is exactly how I imagined the scene would play out. Such an awesome job!

I love how for once JD looks like his real psychotic , mentally ill, self. His eyes really represent how dangerous he is. Im glad in this animatic we see he’s not JUST a hot emo guy.

Reprise is catchy, and JD's response to Veronica's offer of leaving it all is the saddest part, because she _knows_ he's going to say it, she _knows_ she (along with his parents and the Heathers) led him there, and now he's too far gone to come back.

2:02, this is personally my favorite part of the song.

Not only did this Animatic support the mood, but it was easy to understand. Other animatics I couldn't see when the characters were fighting for the gun.

oh my god the way that as soon as Veronica mentions JD's mom his eyes lose the red coloring and it looks like she's getting through to him but as soon as she mentions his father JD pulls away and the red returns. I just love how easy it is to see that JD hasn't fully lost it. Like if 'Ronnie had kept it up a bit longer and talked about his mom, he might have actually stopped himself from blowing up the school.

2:26 this end scene was drawn brilliantly. It really shows how obsessive and psychotic JD has become. Wow.

this is such an original idea and animatic for this song (aka, the demon-looking shadows, and the red for the anger), and i think all the movements (and anatomy, etc) are really good for this song. it really supports the mood

I love how even though she try to show him the light he just blocks that out with a dark cloud, and when veronica said " I wish your mom had been a little stronger" he went from looking evil and killing red eyes to a short realistation, veronica truly cared about him as shown in this amazing animation and she truly wanted to help him but she realized he was to far gone here 2:25 that face says it all

2:04 - 2:20 is such a powerful scene in this animatic. Veronica tries to convince JD that's it's not to late to stop and shows him how remorseful she is about his life but that most powerful thing is as she is taking to him the light starts to clear away the darkness. It's kind of like while the darkness(badness) it trying to corrupt JD even more Veronica tries to with the light(good) clears it away and tries to break him out and help. I Absolutely love theses animatics!!

2:06 this is my favorite part so far. JD was formerly portayed as a dark shadow, but from the moment Veronica, instead of panicking because of the gun, empathizes with him and holds his hand, a light starts to surround him. We see the JD with the long coat: the one who Veronica fell in love with. There's still going back for him. But then he says "I wish I had more TNT" and the light disappears, being replaced with the dark shadow again, and there's where Veronica understands that the JD she fell in love with is not there anymore

1:35 whoever did the subtitles, I love-

I love how JD obviously wasn't trying to kill Veronica, he beat up 2 jocks by himself at the start, yet he can't beat Veronica. He probably just wanted to knock her out so he could blow up the school and get her to safety. When she was in the football field with the bomb he didn't try to reset it.

You know what I just noticed? There is a darker effect on J.D and red eyes, most likely showing his sanity deteriorating. But when Veronica brings up his mom, the white glowy effect, mostly seen in the Seventeen animatic, is thrown back in there, showing that Veronica actually _almost_ changed J.D. So, pretty much; hope vs despair.

I love your animatics! Especially the use of Veronica’s good mist/light and JDs destructive fire/smoke and how it shows their influence over the other. It’s just so beautiful and I love it!

I love how at 2:23 Veronica's like "well I guess the whole confrontation thing didn't work time to fight"

When JD found out that Veronica was alive how come he wasn't that surprised as Miss Fleming? He just let out a demonic laugh like he didn't just see her hanging from her ceiling.

Oml, your animatic makes JD very human, like in this one he got sad when she brought up his mother, and upset when she brought up his father. This is too good.

I love the detail in this animatic, especially at the fight scene. And the way he intends to punch her in the face full force I think makes her realise, she has the gun. She has the opportunity to stop him and save everybody. He wants to hurt her. He wants to stop her. If she doesn't pull the trigger she and many other people's lives are in grave danger. And I know ppl say two wrongs don't make a right but in this case she didn't exactly have a choice.

this song honestly hits the hardest, i feel extremely sad for jd he was born into a terrible world he couldnot manage and went completely fucking insane, meanwhile veronica trying her best to help him to be the support he never had fails to realize it was all futile. its kind of indearing seeing her attempt one last time to turn him around (when THERE IS A LITERAL GUN TO HER FOREHEAD), but the second jd blocks her out she realizes there is nothing left to do but fight.

I really LOVE how the fester and infect me part and the lyrics following have a wound-looking thing in red and then it turns to a smile when the hands appear a few lines later. It kind of symbolizes how JD's pain made him take it out on everyone and commit murder.

I love the symbolism when Veronica is trying to break through to JD, how her "energy" is surrounding him, seeming like it was going to evelop him and you know, he'd calm his ass down. But the moment he breaks it, both Veronica and the viewer knows that he is too far gone (Until he sacrifices himself in I Am Damaged)

You can hear the conflict in JD’s voice when Veronica tells him to step away from the bomb, and it honestly breaks my heart.
