Hey! The last week-end of shows at the On Broadway! I designed and printed the t-shirt for these shows. Famous for the band misspellings. Not my fault. Dirk gave me the band list scribbled on a piece of paper at the 22 Fillmore stop on 3rd & 20th st and I didn't proof read it. I'm in the front of the Mosh Pit as I was doing Security that week end. Dirk tried to weasel out of paying me at 3am after the last show but I got it out of him. RIP Dirk and RIP D.H! So long ago.

I was a suburban middle class kid going to shows like this in 1980 and it was fun as crap. And dudes were wearing leather studs on their wrists and their boots and their jackets and their necks. And I'm out there skanking in the pit with these psychopaths and it was amazingly great

Cheesy? Bcoz the dress? This cheesy Guy do much more for punk rock than a thousand Mohawked drunk pozers with the casualties uniform and a bottle of beer glued to the hand like a punk action man with the right accesories ...combat boots , leather jacket with crass simbol on It , alwais ready for the picture.We are the punks ooooo ! Our uniforms make us the martirs of freedom ooooo! My grandma was much more punker than the tipical the exploited kind of fool.

Wasn't much marketing in 84 mate, one bloke bought the LP..we all taped it, made our own clothes ( bought from op shops). The record shops had badges..bout it. I get what ur saying... turning rebellion into money..so record companies thought. Edit: l saw this lineup in 84 for $15 (with 3 local bands), had a few beers with DH after the gig.. more of a tribe thing.
