Dead Mall Tour- Lakeside Mall. 2022-2023 

Sad to see this one go. I really love how this mall was kept somewhat frozen in time with conversation pits with leather seating, brick plant beds, the massive sculptures, the older looking anchor store facades, and the fountain all just take me back to childhood. My childhood mall very much like this one was Northridge in Milwaukee WI. Currently the sister mall Southridge remodeled to sterilization by Simon in 2010 removing all those old school mall features we see here including the fountains. No malls by me have fountains anymore.

So many memories of it in the 80's and 90's. it's officially closing June 1 2024. They're turning it into something else seems. Glad you got to cover it while it was still open :)

Worked there late 90s early 2000s

i had a decent job in the 80's but was divorced and house poor along with child care poor, we only went once in a blue moon and the tee shirts and jeans were way way overpriced. I don't ever remember a water slide cause i probably would have took my boys there for it
