Great job! Not trying to be rude, but how much would a job like that cost? I know all jobs are different, but just a ballpark? Im a Ga resident myself near Athens (Go Dawgs!), it might be worth the drive to cedartown to make my 82 shine like that!!

i get a lot of chevy's and ford pu all the time for free but most are good project rigs i only keep the one's with no rust in them the rest i part out and scrap have 2 extra cabs for 68 chevy with 0 % rust in them and 8 79 chevy cabs with 0% rust have lots of 67 to 72 fords and i just love the price going up on them . now u can sell a fender for 200 bucks i don't still think that is too high for any rig but i will just keep collecting them have 10 acres i'm filling up with good project rigs any thing from 79 on back as long as i keep getting them free or real cheap i pick it up . working on getting a 54 ford dual wheel truck bad flat bed but good cab and front clip plus i collect muscle cars too

If you have a 2 tone paint job like this truck and need to replace rusted fenders, how do you mount the steel fender trim on replacement fenders. Aftermarket and even nos fenders don't have holes for mounting the trim. Thanks!

Man I just clay bared my whole truck after years of being around my shop. Paint was so rough to the touch from all the overspray took almost all day with covering the trunk with a nice layer of wax. Wish I had time to cut and buff it but it will have to be good enough got too much other stuff gotta get done

The only thing wrong with your truck is that you have to turn your 96 Rock tag upside down. That is the proper way to attach it to your truck. That way when someone says your tag is upside down, you say "Turn it up".

awesome thanks for sharing ! ive had several chevy trucks from 70 to 78... my 78 had that color combo charcoal/maroon of that slick k10... I did similar restoration on it ( two wheel drive )but also repainted it. I currently have my own cream puff 74 chevy short bed fleetside 6cyl manual on the floor all stock just turned 100k... mostly original orange paint ( grecian bronze I think they call it )… it doesn't look as good as yours but im happy
