Stacey Forscythe reveals herself as the leader behind the Fortune City outbreak. These are the cutscenes of her betrayal, leading up to the boss fight, and her death.
@@Darren-lb3rx Christ, this. I have no idea why not many people talk about how reckless Rebecca was, I thought I was the only one who noticed how idiotic she was.
I remember being all like "Oh yeah, I'm ready to get you Sullivan" and then as soon as I see Stacey holding the gun I was all like "St... Stacey, what did you do?".
After playing the original game, I just realized how obvious this should’ve been, This Stacey looks nothing like our Stacey. Fake Stacey must’ve killed or captured our Stacey. This Stacey has brown eyes and doesn’t have a mole on her cheek. Our Stacey has the mole and blue eyes.
Dyllie1 they basically took the complaints about dr2 and fixed them xD. The big ones being frank not being in the game and Rebecca not living. I love chuck, but off the record was so much better 😂
Frank West really gets off on this shit. Like covering an outbreak while being in the middle of it is like his bread and butter. Hell, he just casually pulls up a chair as the antagonist gives her speech justifying the horrible shit she does. 3:50
After playing Dead Rising 2, the distortion of their roles feels really weird. And wrong. But don't get me wrong, getting to play Frank again is just FAANNTASTIC.
In OTR, Stacey's face design was basically saying " I am evil", since the first time she appears. The only thing I didn't like I that " Evil Steacy", doesn't show any surprise face, when she realizes she is about to die.
Duh, but that doesn’t stop people from pretending or imagine this was the real story. Hell all sorts of non-canon stories are treated as if they were canon because people want to believe it is.
I'm surprised not a lot of people caught the surprise twist until it happened, but Stacey's face could've easily given it away due to how completely different it is from the original Dead Rising 2. I think it's because people think it's just going to be the same story, but play as Frank West, but Capcom probably used that excuse to come up with a different villain to surprise us (The goals for the villains in both 2 and OTR are the same so there's no point of changing the story)
StanDaMan I heard it was the other story they were originally going to use but they thought that having the same character would make it boring for the fans. I honestly preferred Off The Record's story.
I like how in the original dead rising 2 Sullivan wanted to take Chuck down But in this one he's saves Frank's life But one question Since the original dead rising Frank needed to slow the transformation. If that never happened, would Frank have to collect Zombrex? beside for other survivors
If Frank never got infected in DR1, then no he wouldn't need to collect Zombrex, outside two doses needed for that one survivor who gets infected ingame.
Stacey turns out to be evil and I still see more chemistry between her and Frank than with ...ugh...Rebecca. Than again, Stacey shooting Rebecca is the best thing ever!
For some reason, every time the betrayal cutscene ends it crashes on ps4. There is no one in the internet that reported this. I'm just stuck here with an unfinished game.
I know the first indication something was wrong was the shift in Stacey's model, but I never knew why until this cutscene. I was fully expecting Sullivan's betrayal again, but the first hint something was different was his reaction. It was more genuine than Dr2. Not to mention, Stacey bypasses everyone to stand at the door.
I'll admit I really don't like Sullivan in DR2 when he reaveled who he really is when he finds it good to open the gates to the SH and letting in zombies and when he reavealed that he started the FC outbreak and the LV outbreak But I'm glad to see in an alternate time line he truly is a good man especially after he risked his life to save frank
CURE is about not treating zombies as animals and respecting the dead. It's also a platform for those currently infected, but taking doses of Zombrex. It was about making Zombrex for affordable for people.
On the dead rising Ost on Sullivan I covered how he was representation of corrupted morales. Otr further showcases this as without Phenotrans in his head he remained a good man.
"Always knew you had a crush on me" Frank West, the dashing reporter who proved he's almost as dangerous and fast as Solid Snake! P.S Why is he wearing a tuxedo if there's no party! Another P.S Why does he look like Zachary Quinto!
Stacey as the antagonist, Rebecca actually lives in off the record. In the canon/original game she dies over Stacey. Twas Bs 😂, plus Sullivan being a good guy was kinda Kool.
Sullivan, When Chuck want to cheak the underground he was expecting what Chuck dies there, but when he come with the information of Phenotrans Sullivan don't have another chosse and kill Rebecca. In change, Stacey could kill Frank, Rebecca and Sullivan just when Frank bring TK to the safe house. But why yes she don't do it and still helping Frank.
damn right! just played through the 1st game, everything is locked at 60 including the cutscenes and damn, no motion blur and the edges of objects and walls are smooth as fuck
