I have been searching all things Emily since last week. After the LP Live event, I thought she was great/amazing. After watching Weatherman and Hands Up, I thought oh wow, she is next level crazy good. After watching Anybody Stripped and a couple more live performances, I thought she is my favorite singer and I need more. Then I find this and well, all I can say, she is special, very very special.
Same here. When I heard her in that LP event I thought she sounded great, I was surprised a lot of people thought "she couldn't sing". Well yeah, those songs were written for a different singer, with different vocal characteristics so it will sound weird at first, it's not an indication of a lack of vocal ability. When she sings songs that were specifically written for her such as this one, she sounds beyond amazing
OH my stars....Her range and talent. I'm sorry I didn't know about you sooner, Emily and Dead Sara! I'm catching up and everything has been amazing so far.
I feel blessed to have her in LP. She deserves more ❤ She is such an talented singer. This song actually reminded me a little bit of an old indie band I listened to from Ireland 20 years ago, JJ72. They broke up sadly 2006 something.. Great stuff 👍🙏❤️
who the hell could dislike this? what is their to dislike? the complete raw emotion she displays? because honestly, that's my favorite part. gorgeous, all of it.
i saw them when i went to see the used. shes got so much passion and the audience really feels it. any recording just doesnt do them justice. youv got to see them live . its a wonderful experience. youll never think of music the same.
How can this song only have 50,000 views???? She is awesome, the whole band is amazing....see them in Hartford CT ......awesome!~!!!!!! much love...Jer
First time I ever heard/saw these guys was at Buzzfest last weekend. They opened with this song and it blew me away! Nice to see raw emotion put into music people can relate to.
Their album is by far the best collection of songs I've heard in a long long time. Emily sings with such passion and power. And the drums, bass, and guitar work is outstanding. Always one step away from becoming unglued.
i have no idea how she does not cry while singing that. i can't even read the lyrics without getting teary eyed. beautifully written and masterfully performed.
saw them live (on accident) when I went to see the used just 2 days ago...now Im hooked, never heard of dead sara before that show...and here I am...nuff said
In an age of over-produced BS in the music industry, it's nice to see someone just put themselves so far out there. Recently saw Dead Sara in Richmond and they killed it. I like the album version of this song, but wish the record company had the courage to put this version on the CD as a bonus track. Amazing. Met the band after the show. Super nice and down to earth; also refreshing. Hope they go huge...
everything about this is perfect the emotion she puts in to this we will never see even live i am sure a lot of background for her in this song i am guessing
I never comment on YT vids... but clearly Tracy has some sort of grudge/axe to grind. Dead Sara is the best rock-n-roll band I've heard. Heavy rotation for months. The definition of rad. Fantastic.
I just told a friend of mine about this band and recommended this as the best break up song I've ever heard. I was going to suggest he look for an earlier version of it to get a rawer feel of it. And then I find this? I leaked a little bit watching Emily.
This litterally blows me away Emily I think this is your most amazing performance ever. The realness the emotion the fucking talent this girl and this band has blows me away. They should be the biggest band in the world but kids are so dumb and into which shit hip-hop that............
Wow, didnt realize this song was 5 years old. I feel like a tard now, knowing this amazing song from this epic band was around all this time and I just didnt find 'em.
She is channeling Joe Cocker. The band is from California, friend from work said I should listen the album. It repeats in my car. This band rips it up. And this song is a total departure from the other songs.
