Dead short, Blower Issues and Burnt Transformer- No Heat-Triple Offender 

Found few rub outs on a carrier like that. One was the overload wires coming from the blower motor. Glad I don’t have to deal with the snow

Good ole Carrier.....you can count on 2 definite things out of them......rub outs, both electrical and refrigerant.......and crap heat exchangers.

There's a saying. When you own a "Clamp-on 92 Fluke Multimeter" as a HVAC tech. You Def know what the hell your doing! Bought one, after a year of being a Rookie tech,, *after owning a fieldpiece POS & Never looked back. Fluke is the BEST!

It seems like, on those units, that low voltage wiring that runs across the blower for the economizer is 99% of the time the cause of a low voltage short. You would think they would have learned their lesson and put that wiring in some kind of a sheath, but the new units are built the same and rub out the same way.
