Kendra fights and accuses Hammond throughout the entire game. Insinuates to leave and abandon him multiple times, easily accepts he could be dead (almost hoping) whenever he's not around. Probably tried killing him by remotely jamming his comm's end. (She could've been the only one to do it, and has the strongest motive) When Hammond finally dies (for real this time) Kendra: "Oh no, I was just reading his vitals as they went out! Is he dead? Oh nooooooo... Well, it's just us now, Issac..."
Game: "Hey space mechanic, now that you've fixed the tram and motor, how about mixing up some chemicals to make a poison that only targets specific biological life forms? You went to trade school so I'm sure you can handle this."
I'm a cosmetologist, trade school, THAT would be a game...throwing hair dryers and shit, but we got scissors and they are sharp so...idk according to this game I got a fair chance.
Every ship Isaac is in will explode, every way to escape or door will collapse and result in a massive setback, Isaac constantly has to go out of his way to fix machines he has to use, go through broken elevators, find a different route, all while trying not to be ripped apart. Give this man a medal damn.
THAT’S WHAT I’M SAYING 🤣🤣🤣 first thing I woulda did “uhhhhmmmm, listen guys…there are huge stains of blood and some viscera adorning the walls. CLEARLY we need to get the fuck outta here.”
28:04 sums up my experience with this series “Big necromorph banging on door trying to get in” “Oh man, either I fight or run. Where am I required to go?” RIG “towards the big necromorph banging on the door trying to get in” “Of course”
Urban Turban probably cuz either it was a suprise. Or the millitary didnt know to shoot them in their limbs and died or they were running out on resorces to survive
Urban Turban Shooting the limbs is the only way to kill a Necromorph, at least canonically. In the game, you can eventually kill them by not shooting the limbs, but it takes like 10 times the amount of ammo (aka all of your clip), when shooting the limbs takes even less time, less health lost, and more ammo left. I like to think that the Necromorphs, simply the basic ones, have a massive health pool on Easy, like, around 3000, and your gun does a basic 10 damage. But if you shoot the limbs, it multiplies the damage by like, I don't know, over 1000 times the damage. Makes sense with canon too.
Some people seem to have a problem with de-syncing audio. Not sure what's going on, there is a part where it does de-sync for a couple of seconds on my end, but the rest of the video is fine for me. Maybe if it desyncs skip ahead for a couple of secs and it fixes itself on the reload? Not sure
Ben S Yeah. In Dead Space 3, you hardly run errands for some foolish hope. And NO ONE likes fetch quests! I don't hate them and actually like them because I don't complain about everything that doesn't matter like it matters the world.
Probably my least favorite thing about this game. It got tedious really fast. "So go to this part of the ship, and btw gotta pass through the morgue like 15 times, and try to not get ripped apart, eaten, or transformed by the most dangerous enemies ever..." SEEMS LEGIT. And you gotta collect credits (and other crap) to buy upgrades on a doomed ship to help you survive. REALLY!?
Its a framework. Literally the ship, atmosphere, and combat are the focus. If two second interruptions to just state a new objective really cut that much into your experience, I am sorry.
I really like the character design of Isaac. Lots of games go over the top with trying to make the protagonist look badass and what not but Isaac is literally just a simple engineer with a somewhat generic face. An engineer tryna save his wifey.
Ryan Anderson The first one was great. Second was a small step for worse but still awesome. 3 was just an action game with too many enemies for them to be meaningful anymore.
The developers clearly were thinking “Let’s make a zombie game, now, how do we outdo every other zombie game out there?” And then some genius with a small model of the USS Sulaco saw pictures of a car crash victim and now I can’t sleep.
Did you see where this one is getting a complete makeover for new gen consoles. I can’t wait for it. I fell in love with this series after playing this one. I even liked the third installment unlike most people. The first one is an absolute masterpiece of survival horror in my opinion though.
21:08 - "Get over to the Engineering deck ASAP while I stay here and figure out what the problem is." Videogames in a nutshell... This part made me laugh.
I just recently finished this game and it was awesome. There is just one thing that kind of bugs me though. (Spoilers ahead for those who haven't played it.). You learn at the end that Nicole killed herself long before Isaac even came aboard, and that he was hallucinating all the times he saw her. However when we first encounter Nicole face to face in the game, she uses a computer to unlock a door for Isaac, and gets attacked by Necromorphs doing it. How could either of those happen, if she wasn't real?
Actually, they were lucky. The military is preparing for war. My half memories told me and of i'm not wrong, they were ........... and i forgot what i'm trying to say
@@D_Thang honestly the dumbest one would be Hammond, since he used the pod instead of, you know, opening it and letting Isaac handle the necro since it was obvious by that point that Isaac was very good at killing them. Caused a very unnecessary catastrophe by launching that pod.
Jesse Padron I think having Five Nights At Freddy's VR is enough, thanks. Even I wouldn't push for a Dead Space 3 for VR, and people say it's the least scariest of the trilogy.
The fact that Isaac Clarke and Lexine Weller haven't met just angers me, Gabe Weller knew about Isaac but never met him in person and now probably never will.
@@TheSatanicGamerFromHell Someone wrote "WERE ALL DEAD" on the wall. How cheerful. And thoughtless. Who the fuck you think has to clean that up, asshole?!
5:05 “guess the power’s down everywhere” I would argue otherwise but everyone knows advertisements don’t need electricity to play 🤣 they power themselves with the angst of the people watching them 😂
@@JessicaGarcia-xf9wr on one of the dead space games for the wii, she was left around the medical area last, so possibly Issac did kill a necro version of Nicole
I remember playing this for the first time all alone at home. Was in the 11th grade at the time. Got scared shitless but that made me play the game more. Miss proper survival horror games like dead space.
Has anyone you know watched the prequel to dead space called dead space downfall it 10/10 really good it explains what really happened on the USG ishumuria and her crew.?😃😃
Late but to Unitoligists, they believe the necromorphs is gods work but are delusional/dumb to realize that they're a violent alien species which plans on infecting other lifeforms.
OldLeatherHands&Friends duh lol. Sorry but yes the second is perfect it fixed what was wrong with the first and it obviously didn't have the flaws of its sequel..plus those fucking stalkers being introduced changed the entire feel of their scenes as it wasn't a bunch of dumb bullet sponges lumbering at you but a pack of smart vicious bitches
When my brother and I played dead space we were surprised that Isaac didn't speak and then when we played the second and third I was shook that he spoke very often. And now for some unknown reason my brother is convinced that he spoke the entire time!?
Thank you very much for this. My X box 360 finally died so I can no longer play the game. Good thing I can see the story unfold again in a nice edited video thanks
When a band of engineers in this game and a few survivors from extraction kill more necromorphs nd somehow manage to survive even more than the entire Ishimura 1k+ personnel crew and the entire colony on the planet
the red marker caused most the population on the colony to start killing each other. Afterwards the Necromorphs killed the rest. On the ishumura the unitologists made it difficult for survivors not to mention most were unarmed in tight corridors. And yes the red marker inducing insanity, dementia, hallucinations, and paranoia caused many survivors to be killed as well. It is believed that quite a number of survivors were still alive once Issac and the crew boarded the ishumura but over the course of the game that number dwindled quite alot.
I just started playing #2 on my xbox 1, and still after all these years the game is really good. I actually get nervous just by looking at that video...
25:48 I’m not sure why she’s so salty... y’all a repair crew who came out to do some repairing, they’re not gonna brief your leader on a high-tech alien artifact cuz that’s not your purview 😅
Guys, is anyone else noticing the video glitching at certain points? This isn't my first time watching it, so I know this isn't what it was like. The video image like tears, as if you were watching something recorded on an old VCR tape
Hello everyone, since we are Dead Space fans. Casual and obsessive fans alike. We love more and more Dead Space. I noticed that the Funko Pop toys have all kinds of video game, movie, and tv brands, but not Dead Space! Please go to their site and contact them asking for Dead Space figures. Thank you
Never they have copy and trade mark rigths to the game IP you dare show any of it and you get copyrigthed even a game like hellgate london which was under thire name for a short time got an EA copy right sticker to the point of the opening movie is copyrigthed
I can already see the tension, thrill, fear coming from the DS Remake. Though it makes me wonder if they had any thoughts about continuing this even with Remakes like Resident Evil....This game can't possibly be over, right ?....
Yeah man the whole alien thing was dumb i wish they would of done a few spin offs like they did with extraction and i wish they would have tied up lexine and her story
Just incase you're wondering a few symptoms of being effected by the marker, I'll give you a Doctor's report on the cases from the colony. I doubt anyone'll read this but if you do. Here ya go, fam. 18:57 too 19:43
Came here after beating the remake! I love the genre of survival horror but this was my first time mustering up the courage to play one! Would love to play the OG some day but for now this video did wonders!
why is glass one of the most powerful materials in horrer/shooter/space games like this. NONE of of your sci fi weapons can break it so you just have to watch npcs die on the other side
Me during all of this if I was in Dead space...😏 (Faint) (Cries) "Jesus help me." "God help us..." "Holy Mary..." "It's mad dark in here." ".....bruh!" "Can we go home?" "Wtf?!" "Ew.." "Oh helllllllllll...." "Whats that?!" "Why I have to do it?" "I have to go by myself?" "Really?" "Won't you help me instead of guide me?" "Can I leave?" "It smells in here." "How about you go #### yourself?" "Am I done now?" "Ain't nobody got time for that!" "Who's arm,/leg/ body/ head is that?!" "Are those body parts?!" "I'm not doing ####!" Those would be my lines 😃😃😃😃😃😃 "What the #### is going on?!" "The ###is you doing?" "NO." "Shit shit shit shit shit shitttttttttt.." "Oh fuck!"
