I found one where Issac first reunites with “Nicole” where you have to fight off the Necromorphs and protect her, after she leaves you can go and activate zero gravity and if you go to where she was standing where you first talked to her you can find a panel of a recording that reveals that Isaac was actually talking to Cross and not Nicole.

i think the staff singing the wellerman was my favorite easter egg

Thie issue with the alternative ending is that most people show the end cinematic, but not the dialogue changes in Chapter 12.

Vincent and her security team from Dead Space Downfall are mentioned in some audio logs

Another small "secret" in chapter 12. When you're on Aegis VII by the shop, if you look at the bunkbeds to your left, you'll see on the beds there is a framed photograph of Nicole and Isaac, which makes no sense because Nicole wasn't on Aegis VII, and neither was Isaac. Just goes to show some of the small things they did to emphasize the Marker's influence over Isaac

I definitely think the audio log with Isaac and Nicole AND the alternate ending is definitely pointing towards the sequel. We know the audio log is from the second game and then the ending we know Isaac made a marker in between part 1 and 2. I’m hoping we can see another game in the next 3-5 years. Also if they do decide to do a DLC they should make a DLC of someone during the outbreak on the ishimura seeing how people are changing and everything is being destroyed. It’d be a cool to see how the ishimura looked before it went to shit.

There an audio log you’ll find at the bridge at the main atrium. It’s a reference to the movie dead space down fall where Alissa is trying to call for backup after the ship being boarded.

A bit more of a smaller Easter egg/reference (which I don't think is in the original game) there is mention of a character called Dallas which is a reference to a character of the same name from the movie Alien (1979) Also I'm confident Isaac's "Fuck this ship" line is a reference to the same line said by Lawrence Fishburne's character in Event Horizon (1997)

Dead Space Extraction deserves a remake. Being a spin off of the original Dead Space, they could make as an expansion pack.

I think it's in chapter 6, but Kendra calls Isaac and says that she'd accept help from a magpie. This is a reference to the dead space salvage comics where a group of space salvagers call the magpies attempt to salvage the derelict Ishimura.

“They are Coming… They Are Hungry… They Will Make Us Whole” -Patient Harris(In Reference to DS3)

Another one that I really liked was part of the side quest involving Harris being turned into the Hunter. If you don't want spoilers for Dead Space 2 and the story behind the truth of The Marker and how it opperates, well here's your warning. There's the part of that side quest that takes you to the ICU in medical and you see a recording of Harris with Mercer. Now, Mercer injects Harris with an experimental substance through his eyeball and makes it so that Harris can more clearly see what The Marker is transmitting to his mind. This implies that this is the precursor to the procedure they used on Titan Station in Dead Space 2 in order to get the blueprints from Isaac's mind. Harris also says, "They are hungry. They are coming. They will be whole." That directly ties to Dead Space 3 and the reveal of The Brethren Moons. Now most people don't like DS3 but the one thing fans did like from it was what it added to the lore of The Markers and their origins and it's cool to know they'll probably stick with that bit if they ever did get around to the third game.

with the ritual circle you get the text log there's also a easter egg that spawns a audio log of a ishimura themed sea shanty also there's several baby's that do that which is nice

It's sad that Glenn's game Callisto flopped. But at the same time you have to wonder what happened with him being the original creator and all.

There's also a reference of Chief Alyssa Vincent from the animated prequel movie Dead Space Downfall, really nice of them to include that.

There were also plushie of various different animals in certain rooms in the Mining Sector of the ship. I remember there being an alligator and a few others but they had little jackets as well, but you couldn't pick them up via kinesis nor were they movable when you melee'd them. I figured it held some meaning

I like how Kendra says she wouldn't mind being save by an F'ing Magpie, which is a nod to the pirate group the Magpies from the book that takes place after the events of the game.

Speaking of that baby doll, there are a LOT of stuffed animals all over the ship

I found the baby and the Dead Space 2 conversation audio piece. Just beat it on impossible mode and got the burnished suit and hand cannon too. Really cool what they did with the remake so far!

I found another baby doll in the area where Chen checks out and noticed it was making those noises there

In the crew quarters there's a room where someone kept dead human models from DS1/2 in a closet

The sign in the hangar bay that says USG ISHIMURA, when you come back later on the only letters that still work are “US IS U”. “Us is you” could be in reference to “Make us whole”.

When you first enter the bridge, there’s a security request about the ship being boarded and Alissa Vincent from downfall is mentioned which is nice since you don’t here much more about her in the game

Harris refers to the Brethren Moons approaching when Mercer pokes him in the eye, during the Hunter’s side quest.

PLUSH DOLLS EASTER EGG In the clearance rooms you can find plush toys my friend said their a reference to a old system I forgot what he said. SECOND HAND FOOT EASTER EGG Also towards the end of the game in the habitation executive sweets area thiers a locked door you need to open the door next to it cut the panel to get in, when you enter the room next door on the wall to your right is another hand and foot puzzle I didn’t realise what it was so I ignored it but now I know it’s a secret. HIDDEN BEHIND A FACE EASTER EGG as you enter the executive sweets area you notice all the highly detailed paintings of former ship captains on the wall in the hallway, shoot the one at the very end to get a rare item. Crying baby dolls dead space 2 possible Easter egg Not sure if thier all linked but thiers a few of the tiny baby dolls u showed in this video scattered throughout the game, not sure if it triggers anything but in dead space 2 thiers a room u get locked in with what you think is a kid locked in a washing machine crying out it sounds exactly like these dolls Also as a bonus I tested to see if the old games old school cheat codes would work in the new version they do not sadly

There's a room with legs set up like bowling pins and heads on a shelf on one wall..

The thing I like about the alternate ending is that in Dead Space 2 Isaac had forgotten 3 years after being Ishimura. In this, he built a marker, which is the surprise he talks about in this ending. This means that Isaac was affected by the "dementia" caused by the marker, which we can see here.

In Chapter 4 when you reach the bridge, you find an audio log where the person talking mentions Chief Vincent, who was a character in Dead Space: Downfall. Sorry just got the game and found this.

I know this is late but in the starting landing bay as you begin the game the sign saying usg ishimora (know ive spelt that wrong) changes to a message as you leave for the planet dont know if anyone else saw this

I love the fact and it's probably going to be my favorite powerful weapon of all time in this game that it has unlimited ammo that makes it so worth doing the impossible mode but also the unpurnished suit looks really good as well

Hoping they make a DLC Extraction in DS Remake, or they can make standalone. Now it's a good time they can put Extraction story with Nate and Gabe as playable characters

In the original Dead Space, there was a quote for the Electronic Arts stock symbol ERTS before it was changed to EA. (above some of the doors). At the time the game came out, ERTS was trading for $17 a share but the quote in the game was for $85 and change. I was wondering if they would have this in the remake but have never found it.

In one of the hologram récords that tells the hunter origins. The guy that becomes that necromorf gets injected in the eye by Mercer and starts seeing symbols just like Issac in DS2. Also that guy Harris starts saying "they're hungry, they're coming". The same quote that refers to the moons from DS3.

There's an audio log in chapter 12 narrated by Bram Neumann, he's one of the protagonists of the prequel graphic novel

I think the baby thing is meant to tease that Issac had already snapped and the marker was making him see some people as necromorphs when they weren’t yet and that the baby doll makes sounds because it really was a human baby

There is actually 3 ritual codes, one the text log, one for 2 power nodes, and a sea shanty audio log

The room where you found the baby in one of the adjacent rooms there's a load of legs set up for like pins in bowling with heads as the bowling balls.

My friend, FalloutFan, came across the crying baby doll literally fifteen minutes into his playthrough on Day 1. The one he found is located in the tram tunnel beneath the platform you enter from, just across from the stasis.

What initially had me looking up easter eggs for deadspace was the code/markings on the floor in CH10, in the executive barracks in the middle of the floor theres a decoding key and some symbols but i wasnt in the mood to translate it all.

Theres a few easter eggs at the ritual circle. I got the 2 nodes and the song that you can get but theres also a text log that you can get that talks about the brethren and everything its pretty spooky

I can't remember if this was in the OG but I absolutely love how in the remake the necromorphs will silently sneak up behind you randomly or in the middle of a fight. Really adds to the intensity and immersion imo.

while playing basketball and doin nice throws you can hear Nicole or some voice screaming "MAKE US WHOLE, ISAAC!" in the distance, it's really hard to hear but possible

There's also a 2nd log hidden within the "forsaken circle" where you stomp & punch - its a funny audio log with a shanty-like song about Ishimura :)

After Johnston dies and the kellion explodes, when zero-G activates, you can fly in the kellion and you'll find her charred body.

the peng was the first thing i checked if it was still in the same place cause you can see it but can't get it right away in the original and in DS2 there are a few mice toy that squeak in the game had alot of fun messing with them tried to see if i can carry one to the very end of the game nope but you can carry one really far before it just disappears

You can find Alissa’s corpse in one of the zero gravity hangars. She was apart of the ishimuras security team in the movie, downfall

I like the way Nicole looked and sounded in the original Dead Space better. The new Nicole looks and sounds like she should be working at the DMV.

I think the crying baby could be a reference to Dead Space 2 when you hear a baby crying in the distance when the outbreak starts in the Sprawl.

I found a couple of those baby dolls during New Game+, on Hard mode. I didn't notice them, in my first play through.

In some of the clearance rooms, there are plush animals wearing black jackets that can't be moved or destroyed. There a shark, t-rex, crab, and penguin so far as I know. Not sure if it's a reference to something.

In some rooms with clearance access, you can find a very curious teddy toys, one of a shark other like a crocodile, you can't grab them and if you shoot them nothing happens, complete different of other things or toys in the game, maybe 🤔 some kind of secret

If Dead Space Remake is going to have the Hand Cannon that early in the series now then I hope that it returns in Dead Space 2 Remake but this time it's a blue foam hand that's doing the heavy metal devil's horns hand sign and it acts like a shotgun that you have to reload by cocking back the thumb.

one of my favorite secrets is one of the secret logs for beating the end of the game is the text logs in new game plus. one has Nicole having a mysterious conversation with.. something, another mentions the extraction characters, and the third is a strange indeciverable text log written in moonspeak. which of course someone else translated it already and honestly if you have beat the game go look it up.. all of this amounts to some facinating lore implications.

I found one where there was a hologram in the medical area to do the tissue sample side quest when you freeze the hunter you can hear the victim that got transformed by mercer say the marker said something to him and mercer wanted to know what he heard in his thoughts and the reference from dead space 3 awakenings ( They Are Coming, They Are Hungry ) brethren moons reference.

In that unexpected visitors text log don't forget Gabe Weller the protagonist in Dead Space 2: Severed.

Found that baby by where you get freeze and it creeped me out so I shot it down the tram way then realized it was in other rooms I thought it was stalking me after that lol never noticed when I try to Search everything my first run

I don't know if it's been said or not but I feel like the part of the game that plays the lullaby song is a nod back to the originals game premiere release commercial
