It’s crazy how I played all the dead spaces and still get terrified while playing this. Also Issacs new look isn’t too bad, I really loved the old Issac but this one looks pretty god. His facial animations are crazy good

So, this game is the first horror game I've ever played. I'm not one for the horror genre. It gives me the creeps, naturally. I bought Dead Space on my PS5 on a whim, that my mates encouraged, partly to gather research for what my 40K TTRPG character could look like if she falls to Nurgle. I didn't expect to adore the lore. I didn’t expect to enjoy the story. I didn't expect to be so very immersed in the world. I didn't expect to enjoy cutting of limbs of the Necromorths. But I do. I want to learn all the lore, I want to support the amazing cast of characters and their captivating stories (Issac Clack deserves a hug!) and I feel like the Issimura could be real with its vast, venerable corridors, cave-like rooms, and immensely disturbing living courters. And the monsters? For all their awe-inspiring horror, I’ll cut off their limbs as they come.

playing this on an OLED is top tier, the darks are super dark but in the best way possible I don’t know how to explain it but it looks great and the gameplay is 🔥 too so far

Yes the pulse rifle is not very powerful it definitely needs upgrading lol Although I'll be using the trusty line gun when I find it, it's definitely my favourite weapon next to the plasma cutter. I've heard the other weapons are way better than the original though as well especially the force gun.

Yk is it weird how much he talks down the pulse rifle but as the video goes on, he just shows to me that it can be very effective though, especially against the jumpy guys? And whenever I've seen some older vids of the OG, I dunno, it seems like a effective weapon.

Played some of the OG game back when it came out. Finished the tram section, turned it off for the night, then could never bring myself to turn it back on. Just bought the remake last night so I can rectify that mistake. Damn it looks stressful though.

I feel like the input for aiming is slightly off. Idk man I’ve replayed the original and Dead Space 2 like a dozen times and I never struggled with hitting the Necromorph’s legs, but after only playing 1 hour of the remake something just feels off to me. Maybe the aiming sensitivity is just set higher or lower by default than the original??

The comment sections on this game making my eyes be like 👀. This is just the next crappy remake but the net trying to convince me that this game is worth anything. For me it's pure comedy. It's so bad. I'm honestly laughing all the time at gameplays that doesn't involve the 0G. It making me appreciate the work of the original Dead Space devs much more and especially Dead Space 2. Im never laughing at any of this games. They are terrifying.

It looks horrendous on ps5, even worse on performance mode, I have a 4K tv, 60hz refresh rate with hdr and it looks so bad, the effects look flashy and cool but the textures look so bad and extremely bad with performance mode turned in

It's a nice looking game but honestly nothing blew me away I mean ..... I don't even see why its on current gen only a one x could smash this out at dynamic 1440p/ 30 or something along them lines ... and no 60fps on series s is talking the piss tbh ... the closest 3rd person shooter I can think of in terms on looks is gears 5 and we're getting 1080/60 on series s without a problem and gears is on the same level or better looking 🤷‍♂️ I seriously don't see why we're getting this kinda stuff for full price next gen game money ..... 1080/60 on series x and ps5 is ridiculous .. the consoles have shown there alot more capable than this the devs need to piss off putting a next gen price tag on something that just isn't.... give me gears 6 in UE5 ... give me motorsport 8 .... give me spiderman 2 ... ffs give me something next gen in the 3rd year of haveing the hardware around! dead space ... Great game it looks and playes like a £40 crossgen game 🤷‍♂️ ... there are even better looking crossgen games out there ... forbidden west... horizon 5 ... meny more ... if your gonna charge a next gen price and cut out ps4 and xbox one how about trying to actually use the newer hardware properly.
