Ugh, this show was WAY better than this trailer makes it out to be. I get that they don't want to spoil anything, but by the end of the first episode, one can't help but be HOOKED.

This was such an un-expected new favorite show of mine. I started watching it idly since I was bored, and ended up becoming completely hooked and finishing it in one sitting. The writing, plot, and characters are SO well-written and organic. The plot twists in the show were fantastic, and cliff-hangers were what made me stay up all night on a work night to finish season 1.

This series should have got more attention. The trailer is brilliant because it gives hints to what it's about without giving away how crazy it gets. The writing was great and these two girls playing the leads were amazing.

I can't stop watching this show. These women are amazing actors. As a woman with Stage IV Breast Cancer, watching Christina channel her real Breast Cancer journey in this show is beautiful. She really reaches deep into this raw grief, and ofcourse, painful experience that Breast Cancer brings and never goes away from your body. I am so happy to see Christina in her greatness. Linda Cardellini is dead on in her character. She fades away into it....in a real, and pure way. Both these women...together...wow. I hope Netflix takes this one all the way into 2,3,4,5,6 season's. Please!. Ed Asner..woah. Presteen actor. James, Diana, Brandon Scott, wonderful singer! Amazing cast. To see Steve Howey from Reba!! He looked like a different man. A very muscular, and beautiful man! In Reba he was not this muscular. I couldn't believe it was him. He needs to be cast in an action/military movie. He is versitile, great comedian. Valerie Maheffey is very intense. Such a great actress. Luke & Sam, the kids are amazing actors. I have never seen them before in any movies, but, they are doing an amazing job on this show. Diana the cop, I think she played the cleaning lady in What Women Want, I remember her from that part. Great actress. What a great group of actors. I love it! Bravo Netflix! The Santa Clarita Diet is my other obsession!

I just started watching this - it’s been a year since I lost my dad. This show is spot on! I love how it shows the real gritty way we grieve and deal. No smushy, stupid, fake hallmark feels.

Finished watching season 2.Keenly looking forward to Season 3! Although heartbroken to have learned that is going to be the last season. This show is so well-made and well-acted, instantly fell in love with it. Loved how characters are not too overly embellished and flashy like many tv shows have these days. The chemistry between Jane and Judy is so pure and raw and how much they care for each other is exceptionally sweet. Another reason to love this show is Linda Cardelinie. She never fails to exude her brilliance. Christina was amazing too! Does anyone know when they'll drop s3?

The trailer already hooked me, but I just finished the first three episodes...WOW. Not only is the concept and the acting stellar, but each episode keeps throwing in a new twist or idea that completely changes/intrigues everything that much more. Can't wait to keep going.

One of the best shows out there. Superbly written and directed. It has this unusual suspense of a thriller-horror for what is really a comedy-drama. It's also how you do a show with female protagonists the right way. I avoided it for two years thinking feminazi bullocks, at worst and a bad chick flick show at best, but it's a really an amazing show. Binge-watching it and it's truly well crafted and the acting is amazing a well. Edit: Grammar

That ending though. Man, the rollercoaster of emotions is crazy. The death of a loved one is always difficult. This show gives us a window into how people deal with that grief. It is often not pretty. I highly recommend. Applegate does a superb as usual.

One of the best shows on Netflix! I binged and am anxiously waiting for the next season. Applegate is outstanding. Finally, an honest show about grief, anger, friendship, loyalty, forgiveness and a multitude of other emotions. Remember when watching: All is not as it seems when a new character is introduced. A must see.

Can’t wait until season 2 - first time seeing Christina in any show/movie though I’ve seen Linda in a few and enjoy her performance. These two make a great team.

Just discovered this show last night while looking for something to watch. So glad I did! Awesome show!!!

Was definitely pleasantly surprised by this one. Excellent take on female friendships. Applegate's strength steers the whole show. I haven't really watched her since "Don't tell mom..." but any woman who can pivot her dumb blonde identity into an award winning career, forcing the world to take her more seriously is aces in my book.

Even though this trailer doesn't show the true genre very well I'm glad they didn't spoil it like nearly every other trailer. I thought I was going to watch a comedy but I'd say the main genre is closer to horror maybe? The writing is amazing, I was so hooked by the ending of the first episode. The twists are really good and not cheap like some shows. One of the best shows I've seen.

The first season is unbeliveable. I watched seven episodes at a time with a dropped jaw, wanted all ten, but the morning came. I don't know if Emmy is good enough to deserve to be given to Christina. There's nothing to compare to this gem.
