Love the in car perspective, the natural movement of the driver and the sounds from the flat 6 are the most convincing, even down to the resonance you get half way up the rev range. Great work.
Really realistic looking driver, car, mountains and road. Great driving, I'd mowed down half of the bystanders. If you all, have any info on how long it should take to up load a 15-20 minute video, let me know. With my crazy internet it takes, forever and then some. Good job.
try shomaru pass. it's one of the tightest passes ever like, there's just enough place to fit your car and to make it even worse. the road collapsed in a section so you gotta be careful and drive through
Graphics don't matter when it comes to simulation. But that being said, Enb series plugin with HDR @ 2560x1440 with 2xSSAA/16xAF with upgraded sprites/smoke/skybox/particles and rFactor can look much better than Forza or Gran Turismo. Not to mention the fact that more and more of Forza 4's models are being converted and imported into rFactor every day. Another game to look at on PC is Simraceway, a free race sim built using rFactor engine that looks every bit as good as Forza.
Hi 6e66o, I would like to invite you and people here to be part of one "Racelan Time Attack" that I usually organize. This track is one of the tracks I selected to those events, I believe you going to like it.
BaconCoqSlap The Third We don't know what car he was driving. Probably something from the 60s, when this kind of handling was normal. It sounds like it might be the circa-1966 Porsche 906, that 6e66o drove in his epic Targa Florio vid (watch?v=5diiweRorlw) BTW he was a developer of that track, and probably this one too.
^it's fairly easy to get around... I got mine feeling tight without RealFeelPlugin or anything. I just change the FFB forces depending on the car since every car has a different normal force being put over your wheels that take the steering load
