I love the predators but I hate how they die in the movies and comics especially when you consider the fact that the only reason they die in such unceremonious and unglorious ways is cause they'd kill the main non predator characters otherwise
That was so well thought out. Any of these great predators could run away with a slam-bang movie (provided the writers didn't always let oomans somehow defeat them).
As always Schzio loved the way you utilized the visuals. Before I go on to other parts of the video I liked and one thing I disagreed on. I want to put a thought out there regarding the Hive Wars Predator. On how he was killed in such a disrespectful manner. I’ve always thought there was a reason to that. You could simply say it was bad writing on the author’s part. And I’d agree, but maybe there was something more to it. Here we have an individual who survived on just about the most dangerous planet in the galaxy. HW Predator had to use his wit, resourcefulness, cunning, skill, strategic thinking in order to survive for years in the Xenomorph Prime. He clearly shows great potential to become a masterful hunter. But what if b/c he fought against the many different types of xenomorph casts for many years. He became too specialized to dealing with them only. Cause in order to survive on Xenomorph’s homeworld, he had to learn how why move, how they think, how they attack, and more. He had to get to know them intimately, otherwise he would’ve died. So when he met humans, he wasn’t sure how to deal with them. Cause for all we know he never encountered humans before. Even if he did, he forgot what humans are capable of. Also forgot the important lesson of learn about your prey/opponent before attacking them. Also due to him surviving on Xenomorph Prime, he grew overconfident in his abilities. This had regarded humans very lightly (cause let’s face it we humans aren’t that menacing compared to many different types of animals/creatures). And due to that lack of judgement he got himself killed in such a anticlimactic way. Not a dispute on his placement, just a thought on the character (and I apologize for it being so long). Back to the main topic. I agreed with your placement on the other characters for the most part. While I really like the Alpha Predator and his backstory. I would argue he should be in 4th or 3rd place at best. Cause while Nightstorm may not be as cunning or strategic as Alpha. He is bigger, stronger, and has way more advanced technology. Also kind of fits with that you were saying about a fight Sullivan and Tyson. As Nightstorm’s time has more advanced tech, more evolved/ complex hunting strategies, better fighting skill, also just more advanced physiology. But I agree that Alpha is deadlier than Ghost (even though out of all them he may be my personal favorite). Also more so than Viper or at least worthy competition for his spot. Other than that I agree with your reasons for your placements on the others. Also loved the way you described their stories. You never cease to disappoint with your story telling. Loved your video, and looking forward to the Ultimate Deadliest list. Stay well.
Awesome breakdown,u bring up all relevant facts,if i had to pick the best Predator i would go Wolf,for the simple reason in AvP R when he pulled that alien down by the tail in the sewer it squealed like a little bitch knowing it was going to get fucked up
Quality video with superb choices. Good points about Kaail. A human analogy would be Vikings were seen as huge during the Viking Age, However, if you met one today, you would likely consider him/her quite short because the average height for men was 172cm and 158 cm for women. Back to Predators. Kaail's specific height isn't listed on Xenopedia, it's listed as 7'+. I strongly think if current ones like Jungle Hunter & City Hunter, who's heights are noted as 7'8" met Kaail, they would probably consider him quite short. And I think you have been generous placing Kaail at No. 2. I'm not trying to undermine his legacy and importance to their history I personally believe the other four Yautja on this list could surpass him due to possibly more intelligence and updated tech. Finally, Schiz, don't get me started on what would happen if he clashed with Nightstorm. That's not a fight; that's an execution and one that Kaail will find hard to escape from.
Out of pure curiosity does Sonic or Mario have enough villains for it count as a rogues gallery. I think Sonic's could if you include Knuckles, Shadow, Silver and The Babylon Rogues.
