Welcome to moba. You will get used to it and maybe appreciate the way that genre is. Also, similar to dota (2), this game also tries to make laning more interesting by encouraging players to pop the floating souls for extra reward, which gives the player the choice to go for more souls or hit another creep or opposing player. Also player can deny their respective dead creep’s floating souls right or they can only do that to dead hero’s floating souls?
Watched some gameplay and I have no idea how to feel about this game. I think I have to try it for myself. People just openly trashing it are the same people who complain about no new ideas. This game seems ambitious.
@@likeWeird yeah after making this comment i realized that this has been done before with paragon and smite lol. still seems like it has some interesting mechanics.
@@sorinnoctis652 one advice i can give you rightaway, don't use community builds or builds suggested by the game , check out builds players do in those videos rather then following in-game ones
I think it looks fine for a source 2 game, but with how early it is none of the lighting is finished so everything looks kind of static and "meh". Also you have to keep in mind how important performance is for a shooter where there could potentially be 12 ultimates and countless other abilities all having to be rendered at the same time.
well that depends on the algorithm that was used.. blurring doesnt mean its generally unsafe it just means if you use a simple blur function like the gaussian blur that you may be able to reverse that but if you use more advanced blurs you shouldn't bother trying
@cloke3076 tbf valorant using unreal 4.xx that engine already capabilities replay system. Not sure why riot didn't implement. You can search unreal engine 4 features replay system.
@@cloke3076 that's cope lol They rushed Valorant to release during COVID to catch everyone gaming at home. They could have easily done a replay system, it's just the unreal engine. Hell even a lot of games by smaller studios releasing into early access already have replays. No excuse for riot and Valorant - they don't see the value in replays when they can sell $100 skin bundles like hotcakes
Anyone know the story or characters here? Why Deadlock? With the reference to spirits, urns, guardians, and such, are deadlocks the weapons (a la flintlocks or matchlocks)?
@@Fazeshyft here’s what it says for pocket: “A FATE’S TALE : Arin Fairfax , the eldest heir to Fairfax Industries , has been living in hiding for the past 5 years after being shot and left for dead on their 18th birthday . Arin doesn't know who is trying to keep them from taking control of their parent's company ... but in the avarice fueled viper's nest that is Fairfax Industries it could be anyone . Taking on the name " Pocket " , Arin desperately wants to keep their true identity a secret ... not only for their own protection ; but because they want to forge their own identity separate from their parents.”
@@floran20 well getting to high mmr matches in this game is so easy everyone that has high mmr thinks they are the best but no this is nowhere close to top 1%
@@tylergimpel they’ve likely just put that for click, but there is a discord that has a channels for replays and some players have a reputation of being queued at very high mmr and see eachother every game so are likely at the highest
I'm not sure what quantifies the top 1% but you should be always in natural cover no matter what in lane when trading or taking minions, your hero doesn't benefit from being in melee range with Infernus, try to space for your barrage and land denies, if he climbs high you punish and he loses souls, just pay a bit more attention with his trades as well, his left click will always out trade yours in extended trades early
They can get stolen by the enemy. So you can shoot them to take them quickly for yourself or leave them alone. Leaving them alone still gives you the souls, but you run of the risk of them being stolen.
When you last hit a minion you get 40 currency, they release a soul which gives you another 40 currency, but the enemy can also steal the soul from you, so you gotta shoot it quick
In the first 10 mins they do. Enemies can shoot them to steal. It's incredibly important part of the game and feels dynamic and fun. It isn't like league where the first 10 mins can be super boring.
You are right, i had dificulty finding good match with him being played by one of the good player and vs good Players. I believe it might have something to do with Hero-Based MMR. I don’t want to post a match when good guy stomps some random people who just got into the Game 😄👍
10:30 K/D Players name displayed. This video reveals too much information that could identify you. Valve staff can ban you if they want, so be careful.
i keep seeing comments like this and i don't understand at all. do you want them to just over-saturate the color grade? it also needs to have INSANELY good performance bc of all the abilities going off.
Interesting gameplay but it really feels like it's missing a lot of personality, the setting and environment ain't really hitting it for me. Probably makes it good for making past the China censors though where the most players will be playing it lol
Looks okay. I understand its early but im not talking about....looks lol. Idk sadly im not into these extremely zoomer type games. Got any casual mmr footage? Ill give anything thats contending with putting OW out of business a chance lol.
Correct. But I still wonder how they are going to dress this to be more readable, pretty, interesting... It looks like the enemies are small, our effects in the world are small, .... is going to be hard to push this to a place anywhere near overwatch visuals.
@@teiman it doesn't need overwatch visuals, and the characters themselves when ur playing the game are not small they work quite well when mixed in with the player enemies and allies, u'd be suprised what u can see going on when in game ngl since all characters have their own "colours" to them
One of the best, Yeah. There Are of course still better players than him. Especially now, Keep in mind that 1 Week ago playerbase was 10x smaller and it’s growing everyday, im pretty sure meta will Change a Lot. Also - this is replay and it doesnt really show perfect mouse movenents etc. That Kind of changes the perspective.
the guy playing is not good. i know this is you spectating a player's game but he is not good and also why is he not maxxing one ability like most of the players you vod review? this guy is putting points evenly into everything. also his aim is atrocious
Im honestly kinda glad the gaming industry keeps giving us absolute garbage like this. Saves me a ton of money for when that one good game comes out every 6 months or so...
