I feel bad for Deadly Guns...cant blam him for playing his music even if uptempo doesnt belong to qlimax. If Qdance booked him its their fault and not his. He doesnt deserve any hate!
I would debate whether he deserves any hate or not. He got so much fans because most of the people fell in love with his album Chosen one style, but unfortunately what he is releasing now is different and terrible .It’s as if you fell in love with a girl for her certain set of qualities, and after 2 years you see another person in front of you, not the one you fell in love with initially. I have nothing against this style of uptempo and I understand that there are people who like it but it's too much uptempo everywhere. I feel like Qlimax and artists are imposing their tastes and preferences on us, while these people and artists live off us and our money, so it is not they who should impose their tastes on us, but we who should say what we like and what we don’t, and if they they don’t want to hear us, then they will see empty halls(I still have a tiny hope that Michael to draw conclusions and will listen to his fans
The Qlimax '23 line-up was incredible💙 However I think the ending needs an atmospheric artist (like Nosferatu). I understand that Deadly Guns/Uptempo is in the hype right now. An idea to make all people happy: Bring back the 2014 ending concept, with three different Hardcore acts, with different styles🙏🏻
These days, Qlimax is a mainstrim event where 'artists' play pre-recorded sets and wave their hands to the audience. Most of them don't even produce the songs they present. In my opinion, Qlimax is just the perfect event for 'artists' like Deadly Guns. Legends like Nosferatu should stay away from it.
Tbh I feel bad for Deadly Guns for being teleported to the Qlimax without having enought atmospheric tracks to make it magical. It was more an Album showcase than a proper Qlimax ending. Somebody will love, others will hate, hope Q-Dance knew what they were doing
@@nicob.4607 Frenchcore is still huge but it doesn't have lots of new Dj's so it just needs new fresh talent! I know how you feel about frenchcore, At first I didn't like it and sefa was just an ordinary dj but now that my best friend showed me what frenchcore really is like I look at it in a different perspective..
Honestly, out of a group of 5 people, i wanted to go early. I didn’t want to listen to DG. Because he disappointed me so much in 2023. But we were on the dancefloor till the very end. I dont regret one second. This set was really good. Much better than i thought it would be.
Q-dance you outdid yourself with this edition of Qlimax but this was just wrong. I'm begging you to give the hardcore spot to Nosferatu next year, it's so overdue
Honestly I only stayed on the dance floor till the end since I wanted to get the full experience, but the last 20minutes were a real struggle. No hate, I'm sure deadly gunz has his audience, I just don't think it's a great fit for this kind of event.
bro get up to date, he's one of the top 3 producers on hardcore. Stop bitching about it... these are new kicks, new experiences and new ways how hardcore is made. If you wanna listen to angerfist megamix 2012 be my guest.
@@AwayyM8 I don't care how popular he is. It says nothing about the quality. If I wanted to listen to uptempo I would have bought a ticket for Snakepit.
I think someone like Odium, Ophidian, Angerfist, Peacock, Sefa, and as others mentioned Nosferatu would've been far better choices. These guys would've known how to make a set that actually fits the Qlimax vibe and have the musicality to make it emotional, danceable and most importantly, _memorable_ . The last 3 sets of this edition have unfortunately been neither of those things, for me at least... Hell, even going full euphoric with Re-Style would've been kinda cool.
Sefa had the worst set of 2022 and closing of all times last year bro, go look up the overall feedback and Qlimax 2022 social media posts with sefa involved... Worst up till DG with uptempo, which isn't even necessarily his fault because the style doesn't fit Qlimax, while sefa could have very well fit.
sefa's set just had no flow, it was a bunch of random stuff mashed together with 0 consistency and a lot of quiet moments / weird transitions that killed the flow of the music
@DerekDeianov @zSkipper Oh, I wasn't aware! 2023 was my first Qlimax and haven't seen Sefa's 2022 set since it's not online, not in full at least. Sorry to hear (and a bit surprised/confused?) Sefy wasn't up to standard when you guys went :/
Missed opportunity for Ophidian - call of the void. Such a shame DG got a qlimax spot before Ophidian (low change he will get one because it's only uptempo from now).
In my opinion the worst Set of the night. People were barely dancing and Qlimax isnt Snakepit…made us leave early. I have to agree to others aswell, Nosferatu would have fit the Theme of Qlimax way better.
Getting rid of early hard Dance in general (especially at Qlimax) will ultimately lead to the scene to go back into the ether. It'll be like it was between the years of 2014-2018, in a state of constant uncertainty@@andreaz.5313
I was close to the front and it was pure chaos, made many great and crazy friends during this set ! Don't know if any of us was really conscious though
While many argue that DG had nothing to do on the Qlimax stage this year and that it was the worst set yadi yadi yada.... I had a whole lot of fun during this closing set, while yes, not the best of the night, finally having the opportunity to hear DG live (since it's one of my fav Uptempo artist) was purely awesome ! Thank you Q-Dance for the Event it was my fist and it was phenomenal
Imagine Deadly Guns Closing set with his 2018-2021 material. That would be one of the best qlimax Closings. But here we are. Tik tok generation loves this uptempo crap. Can't even call it hardcore.
Based on fans feedback this was an incredible edition(I wasn't there but that's the general idea from what I see on the internet and my friends said), both musically and production wise, so big props to Q-dance..Musically till vertile and deadly guns who lowered the bar heavily.. Hopefully q-dance listens to the fans feedback and won't bring zaagkicks/fake drops acts + uptempo next edition. Sefa last year didn't work either, meanwhile miss k8, or angerfist were pure fire as closing. And with Deadly guns I don't even blame him so I feel kinda sorry for the backlash, that's simply his music style which doesn't fit this party, Vertile straight up performed a bad set in the other hand(like most the ones he had in 2023), putting 0 effort into it with no new music either
That's the same as saying "crowd loves zaagkicks". Yes, there is a portion(maybe even half) who will yell when a zaagkick comes, but the other half hates it/puts hands on their ears/does nothing because doesn't find it danceable(and for a reason).. Does it means it's good? Sure for some it might be, but if half the crowd dislikes something, then it's probably not the right party/stage for it, and comment section + the average response from fans speaks enough.@@TomTheCheckers
@@DerekDeianov and yet it was less than 30% of qlimax. Don’t get me wrong i loved it from the beginning to the very end. I just think this way of thinking is stupid. I for the other hand was a bit disappointed with the light-show.
I disagree with the Vertile comments, I think his sets have been good in 2023-2024. One of the greats when it comes to combining powerful melodies and hard kicks from raw. Fits great into qlimax imo, you need some spiciness inbetween the 10 billion nostalgiabait euphoric songs at an event like this 😂
for everyone you hate on the closing set by deadly guns you have to look at defqon 1 they will have a techno stage on one of the biggest hardcore festivals of the world so you can hate deadly guns on qlimax it is a raw event and the most raw events will close whit uptempo so pls respect deadly guns
Absolutely the best Qlimax ending I've ever been to. Get out with 2008 hardstyle! Stop crying kiddos in comments. New Age is comming! Love you Q-Dance, keep doing this! I enjoy Deadly Guns as much as possible. Amazing atmosphere, incredible drop beatz! See you next year for sure! I will be there.
Would have been fitting for someone like Neophyte to play it out since the lineup was so old-school. Deadly Guns literally cleared half the dance floor. Honestly, this set was utterly terrible
Winning on these Kick/Live/Other Edits: Comments Edition! If you win 5 days, I will make Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon's Kick Edit of "Rainbow In The Sky by Paul Elstak", and I was a genre for Gabber At 160 BPM. If you win 4 days, I will make The Prophet's Kick Edit of "Pennywise by Angerfist", and I was a genre for Rawstyle. If you win 3 days, I will make Wildstylez's Reversed Kick Edit of "Feel It by D-Block & S-te-Fan & D-Sturb", and I was a genre for Euphoric Hardstyle. If you win 2 days, I will make Kaede Hozuki's Kick Edit of "Echoes by Adjuzt", and I was a genre for UK Hardcore at 160 BPM. If you win 1 and only day, I will make Sailor Neptune's Kick Edit of "WALL OF TOZA by Rebelion & TOZA & Soverign King", and I was a genre for Xtra Raw. Broken heart or loser on this Extended Mix! If you break a heart for a next week, I will make an Extended Mix of "Enter The Real Simulation", and I was a genre for Reverse Bass & Euphoric Hardstyle. Thank you for watching and cheers!🍾🍻🥂💋♥️
It's not that he doesn't understand, his style just isn't in line with qlimax. That's not his fault, it's qdance's for booking him on a party that doesn't suit him. I love his style, but even I could see it isn't meant for qlimax
about 1000 likes and 400 dislikes You know, I think Deadly Guns is kind of an uptempo that could be here. It's more melodic than other uptempo artists. Personally, I can only listen to Deadly Sins and N-Vitral in this genre
i was there the night and i actually enjoyed the set, i do love me some uptempo. :D that beeing said. in hindsight it didnt fit the qlimax vibe at all. it was fun, but i could have found some who both deserved it more and fitted the qlimax theme better. even tho i had a good time. :D he played a really good set, had it been at every other stage than qlimax!
the qlimax people are used to mainstream weak kicks, they can't handle uptempo. outsiders hardstyle probably too hard as well nowadays with the weak crap labeled as hardstyle 😂
I know many of you didn't like this set. The only intension from Q-Dance was to have a DJ what outstands the Hardstyle/Rawstyle genres. Its nice to see the classic Qlimax sets every year, but this is a perfect way to extend the musicgenre on a event like Qlimax. DG wasn't the best option, but D-fence, angerfist or Partyraiser where even badder then this on Qlimax
@@miwer1000 and you clearly can’t see it. There is a difference between having preferences and being an asshole. The floor clearly wasn’t empty. I was there and i couldn’t get even close to the front. Qlimax was absolutely amazing and i spoke with some folks who even though don’t listen to uptempo, had a great time.
Fr. Other events or concerts are the same price for half the time. Or more expensive. And when you break down the cost of for example defqon 1 it's really not that expensive as everyone makes it seem.
Hoy tu set a sido bestial una animalada eres una bestia mira que el hardcore no me gusta mucho pero es que me a encantado mucho por eso lo voy a guardar en mis favoritos muchas gracias maquina que sigas asi de bien
I didn't do 12 hrs bus, festival and 12 hrs bus back-to-back to hear slight variations of a frequency going RRrrrRRrrrRRrrrRRrrrRRrrr. If I wanted to, I would've gone to a different festival, with different expectations. I paid with money, time and energy for a Qlimax experience consistent with that of previous years, and didn't get it.
Partyraiser did it right back in 2014, I think for Qlimax a guy Like DRS with his demonic/dark stuff could fit. Dimitri K with his early hardcore remixes could also fit well.
Dimitri K at Reverze, Deadly Guns at Qlimax, Uptempo is doing well at the moment!! for the most fragile the sound is evolving, Raw has replaced Hardstyle, Uptempo replaces Hardcore!!
fuck all the haters deadly guns deserved that position for his great work these years ❤ stop crying and just enjoy and if you don't like it go somewhere else
