surfing is better. No offense intended. Just an opinion, from me, somebody who's done both sports. (not professionally, I'm just a regular guy.)

The time when I will justify ripping on another craft, such as for example, knee boarder dudes, body boards, windsurfers, SUP guys are out there, I've always hated longboarders,............ is when.......... (this is when it starts to become justified) When you have a few bad experiences with those people.

I've had problems with them too. -- My advice is this. Recognize, scan your surroundings, be aware of danger. UNFORTUNATELY this process DOES include racism, you will become slightly racist, you will categorize people by their appearance, which includes skin color, tattoos, piercings, and any special garments like scarves. You can assess their age, and strength, etc. I'd imagine this is exactly what the Secret Service detail around the president, does. The goal is to identify threats. And it should end AFTER you get to know each person better. (that's where the racism stops.) in. conclusion, I can't stand knee boarders. Long boarders and short boarders, I've learned I must deal with them, and most are fairly reasonable people. Another category is the inflatable body "mattress" which is similar to a body board but unprofessional. (it has zero high performance capability.)
