@@ElephantKiller23 I mean, there are a lot of dance tracks that have cool vocals and simply electronic melodies. But do they sound exactly like I Remember? No. But if you look, you’ll find other stuff very similar.
crombie92 You replied to some pretty old comments, and I just happened to drop by and check out your suggestion. Thank you, loving the song and checking out the rest :)
As a kid, my dad would play this song on our drive back home from the beach. Listening to this while looking out the window, watching the sun setting, it always made me feel a certain way. A mix of nostalgia, calmness, sadness, and melancholy. An absolute banger 🔥
Denchanter357 it's even weirder for me. i usually like things like deathcore, melodic deathmetal and metalcore, but this song is perfection. The simplistic melody pattern and the voice variations are harmonizing like only in very few songs. its a rare masterpiece like the soundtrack of the movie 'moon' or some of 'woodkid's stuff imo
Sasha's Airdrawndagger got me into EDM for the past 20 years or so. Crazy how many shows I have been to, I even saw who started it all for me twice, I even met him once, and talked to him and shook his hand. I haven't been to any shows in 10 years or so but I still listen to lots of different types of electronic music. 🥰
An absolute masterpiece. I always imagine driving on a highway, only me an no cars in sight and no special destination except to just keep driving, when I listen to this sound.
This was my exact experience with this song countless times, one of the reasons I regard it so highly. Driving back home from work or a late night out, windows rolled down with the summer air pouring in, the sun slowly rising in the distance. Blasting down the highway with lanes all to myself. Those were beautiful times, never felt so free, could have kept driving forever.
I used to listen to this song when my dog and I would go for a jog every evening.. Playing this song brings those memories... he just turned a year since he left into his eternal sleep.
This song to me is pure and utter bliss. It captures the meaning of the word ecstasy as the sound rushes through my body. The audio has more depth my senses are heightened...feels like I am coming up,reminds me of my first time that special time,my mind drifts off and I think about cherished and tender moments I have. Such an amazing feeling...it smoothly cuts through me like a beautiful knife through butter. I am untouchable in this moment...in my element man oh man trust me I FUCKING REMEMBER!
Remember turning on the night And moving through the morning light Remember how it was with you Remember how you pulled me through. I remember! Excellent.
Reminds me of a best friend I use to have a while ago we use to party and go to raves and we dedicated this song to each other. But we grew apart. We stopped going to parties.
It was 10th of April 2009, my 21st birthday party.. I had a crush on this girl for a while back then, she accidentally appeared at my party.. I don't know how, I don't know who invited her.. Couldn't complain about it.. I was "sparkling" inside that she's here.. Our eyes kept meeting together, I was a shy boy and she was an attractive girl.. Not long after I was holding her hand, because it was freezing outside, and asked to take her home - she agreed. It was a calm night, moon was shining through my front window, dark night and street lights made this perfect atmosphere.. We wasn't talking, we never needed to talk in that moment, perhaps we were listening this song and understood.. That we will remember.. We will remember that night.. After we got to her place, I kissed her and said "Good night", she smiled to me and replied "See you soon".. and it was something special... I never seen her ever again after that night... But I still Remember, I remember... Show less REPLY
I say he Post this exact same thing He's Saying Here on Reddit or Pintrest maybe Twitter Publicly and you'll never know what could happen the Probability of it Happening is Great... Helen Keller said, “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” Because if anyone was at that Party they'll Remember.....
This song is one of those classics that your grandkids will probably never learn to appreciate 60 years from now. Probably one of my favorite songs ever.
by far one of my most favorite songs of all time. thank you Deadmau5, Kaskade, and Haley Gibby for creating this superb song. It sets such a chill vibe
Feeling the past moving in Letting a new day begin Hold to the time that you know You don't have to move on to let go Add to the memory you keep Remember when you fall asleep Hold to the love that you know You don't have to give up to let go Remember turning on the night And moving through the morning light Remember how it was with you Remember how you pulled me through I remember, I remember I remember, I remember I remember, I remember I remember, I remember
This should have been played at the end of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind... had the song have come out by then. I would have legitimately cried.
A few years ago I almost shit on myself at a family gathering as we took turns Bluetoothing our music to the radio... I thought I was the only average hip hop loving, straight, 40 ish yr old brotha that was up on this til my cousin let this on play off his phone... I was like gtfoh!!!! Lol, I have to say this is one of my all time favs in life.
This is one of my top favorite songs, simply awesome in it's seeming simplicity and this video with it's symbolism and coloration is fantastic! It's one on my favorite list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the "notebook lines."
This song , her voice , the lyrics..they pull my emotions out to their rawest core. It’s an amazing feeling of sadness, happiness, melancholy, euphoria, longing, regret, freeness, .....so many feelings- all at once. It gives a high like that of a drug... Late night when driving trucks this song would help get through some of the most boring stretches of open road in the middle of nowhere i swear i would over 80 miles in just the few minutes this song would be.
