NO, neon hitch MAKES this song. if she wasnt singing in this i wouldnt be listening to it right now and i bet a LOT of others wouldn't be either. it would just be noises..
@iliketosnuggle123 I'm not aware of the controversy, however I do produce as a hobby. The reason deadmau5 is so popular (more popular than Neon Hitch) is because the quality of the sounds he creates is excellent. No, his beats and rhythms are not complex, but if you knew anything about producing must "pop" and electronica, making the sounds is the hardest part by far and requires immense amounts of time, knowledge, and skill. The song would be shit if it was a capella.
The only problem is that Neon's vocals are only over 1:45 of the song, which is 3:44 seconds long. Also lets say during the vocal parts the song is 50% vocals and 50% beat / melody / hooks (which is incredibly fair to Neon Hitch, considering most of what you are actually hearing is Deadmau5). That means 76% of the sound you hear is Deadmau5, and just Deadmau5. Now, since you think this song is "amazing" I have a hard time seeing why you think the beat is "mediocre".
Personally I don't really care what deadmau5 thinks, or says. Neon is way cooler then he is and this song rocks, it wouldn't have rocked without her. She made this song, he should have just said he didn't mind becuase she MADE his song. I support hitch.
I think that is a really lame comment to make if anyone is going to be badmouthing either artist. Deadmau5 is a genious and has every right to be mad that someone took his artwork and altered it without even the slightest bit of his permission. So, Even though Neon Hitch may be a FUCKING AMAZING QUEEN :) :) and I love this duo SO FREAKING MUCH, I don't think it's fair to slander Neon's or Deadmau5's name just because people don't like this collaboration. :)
From what I heard, none of deadmau5's management actually sent Neon Hitch's management 'Seeya Next Tuesday'. It was apparently left to be published, but someone picked it up and gave it to Neon Hitch's management and said "HUR DUR DO VOCALS". I don't blame Joel for being angry, imagine if someone took your song (A song you put your hard work into) and suddenly started producing over it and publishing it. I'm not hating on Neon Hitch, but her management should of contacted Joel first.

The mix wouln't have had that -kinda moderate I agree- success, if she didn't sing on it. I'm pretty sure of that. ( Sorry for my english I'm french maybe I did some mistakes )
@vlogginthebus exactly... I d K what the huge deal is.. Mau5 mixed Rage against the machine at one of his shows, i dont think anybody with a brain gave him the credit for creating the song... I've hear 5 million other deadmau5 remixes/remakes and this is the only one I've heard was an issue.....I def like this version better than the plain Mau5 version
@TheFoxridergurl101 I wasn't talking to you, and I don't care what your opinion is either. My opinions are my own, and if I chose to verbalize it, or comment on something, I can and will. Anyway, that comment was posted way before I even got into techno, and dubstep, so now I actually do like deadmau5. You can go ahead and keep your opinions to yourself though.
@RollyU thats not true deadmau5 actually have people who feature in there songs so people needa stfu becuz they made this song together !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -.-
There are comments for a reason. Positive and negative feedback. I like deadmau5's "contribution" to this song, but not Neon Hitch's. Not everything is kittens and roses here.
i understand why he's pissed but he's the one why was irresponsible with his music, also the original track was lyricless and monotonous as fuck, this is a lot better
