Maybe my ears are deceiving me. This is so good. I remember him working on this during a Twitch stream like end of October/1st of November, 2019. Left such an impact I remember the the time frame. I yearn for the OG 16min version, which is so fucking incredible and progressive, minimal, and spacey. If it gets released at all in any capacity I'll be happy but I think I still prefer the old ass mix.
I understand that any artist has complete creative discovery and control over the final product; however, Resave (the latest Deadmau5 rendition of Hit Save) is a big letdown with a lack luster and mediocre composition layout compared to this haunting masterpiece. I hope that we can hear the final refined vocal version of this track, with all verses, using this original tune, or at least have another artist remix the track to match this tune after it is formally released if, indeed, Joel does decide to keep Resave in its current form.
I hope he releases this version even if it is like Alt Mix, I love it and I thought it would be a long time before I could listen to it again, thank you very much for re-uploading it.
THIS!!! I freaking hope this version gets an official release! Nothing against Resaved he's been playing at live shows or Unlucky, but this version just slaps in such a beautiful way, I can't live without this.
i believe the reason he does not release stuff like this is because he knows its not in the EDM category. That is why he remakes them. Which is why i think the EDM industry is wack and there needs to be a change of people expecting 'drops' .........i really want to change that

@@altruisticdiscovery"Resave" has absolutely nothing mediocre, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad. Both this version, the first of all, and the last one, have their own distinctive sound and nuance that makes them incomparable from one another.
I love how deadmau5 can make these simple beats that you can loop forever and not get bored of. Just this chord progression and the arp, how amazing they sound?!
Undoubtedly deadmau5‘s magnum opus. If this ever got released, and I mean this version specifically, I don’t think even Strobe could top it’s spectacular beauty.
