Boy am I glad that he's frozen in there and that we're out here and that he's the sheriff and that we're frozen out here and that we're in there and I just remembered that we're out here.

This has been me the last few months: Listen to deadmau5 Get inspired to try and make music Realise how hard it is Think about how talented deadmau5 is Repeat
In a sense, use the ideas deadmau5 has, implement them into your own ideas. Essentially, become one with your mind. In the end, there's no wrong way of making music the way you want your vision of your song to be, I may have had only a years worth of experience so I'm still new to the game but from experimenting, lots of self teaching and screaming to yourself, you'll persevere and music production will be a thing of habit
As a music producer, I feel your pain. It took me so long to learn how to make music. It taught me how to recreate his chords, the way he makes his songs. I officially started music production and I'm now getting better.
seeing as how its the mix he used during one of his shows and that its quite longer, its gonna have some differences to fill the space the vocals filled
I never knew this was my first deadmau5 song before I actually knew who he is. I’ve thought that maths was the first but this was it. Miss my Red Lamborghini But My progress went oof.. 😢
In all technicality, this song is the original. The vocals were layered on afterwards. However, the version with vocals was the released one. I love being a smartass.
I like this with and without the vocals, it's like two different songs, you can't really say which is better. I really like gerard, like, you don't even know how obsessed I am, but this song without vocals sounds really cool too.
The song has an entirely different character without the lyrics. It feels heavier somehow. The chorus melody cuts so much deeper without the lyrics. But I get that energy from knowing the lyric isn't there when I know how the lyric usually goes. I'm noticing it's absence. So I'll never know how this feels instrumental ever. Urgh
Just like sofi needs a ladder imo. The vocal part needs to be forgotten entirely to really appreciate it as a deadmau5 track. Listened to the live rips of this before the lyrics were ever a thing and I can confirm it hit super hard.
Hey, thanks a lot for the extremely high-quality upload, man. Couldn't find the official MP3 anywhere (it appears to have been removed from iTunes, Beaport, etc.), but I managed to download and convert this video into an MP3 and it sounds wonderful - none of the quality loss you usually get with RU-vid vids. Thanks again. :D

I dunno why but the actual percussion and the synths in this version compared to the final vocal are totally different. This version is so much harder and kicks so much more ass.
This song makes me feel like i had a phase in my life that was terrible, now i got away from the terible part and i am on the top part of it but i lost lots of things and privileges from my childhood.
Am I glad he's frozen in there, and that we're out here, and that he's the sheriff, and that we're frozen out here, and that we're in there and - I just remembered - we're out here. What I want to know is, where's the caveman?
I’ve been waiting my whole life to finally do a balls to the wall car stereo for myself. There was never a point I just threw some bullshit equipment in there to have decent sound. I wanted the best of nothing at all. I’m 36 and I finally did it. I won’t list all the speakers and amp equipment suffice to say that I literally couldn’t have anything better. The reason I said all that was because the week leading up to my vehicle being ready to pick up, I wore silicon ear plugs all week. Blocking out almost all sound. That way when I heard it for the 1st time it would be on fresh ear drums. The 1st song I listened to for the new car audio build was this very song. Honestly it was a little too much. So perfect then.
6:25 = 385 seconds 385 x 2000000 = 770000000 770000000 / 60 = ~12833333 minutes 12833333 / 60 = ~213888 hours 213888 / 24 = 8912 days 8912 / 365 = ~24,4 years This song came out in 2011... You sir just lied... Shame on you...

It is completely impossible to find a copy of the CD single of this (and thus the instrumental version) anywhere, including but not limited to ebay and Amazon. I ended up using Discogs to order one from Finland. It was a goddamn CD-RW with the artwork inkjet printed and badly cropped to fit into the case. $26. yeah. And it's just the regular version, not the impossible-to-find Instrumental. Welp, this isn't FLAC or WAV, but at least I have this version. Thanks for uploading.
