after not listening for a while, i'm gonna describe the feeling of how a piano cover sounds: The wasteland of life is vast, barren and burnt. I've been through all kinds of shit since 2012. Ascending from the heavens is not hope. Not a new start. But light. You grab it to get back on your feet. The song gets more and more intense, and at the climax, everything is normal once more. At the end, it fades away, leaving me in peace. Thanks, Lucas. It's great.
Dude perfectly nailed it. This is how the original sounds like. I specifically enjoy that he didn't smuggle in no additional tones, like most musical instrument players do when reproducing a known, already great song.
WOW......no disrespect to Mr Duffy - I love his version.......but your version exhibits much, much more subtlety than his, and a delicate touch that sets yours apart from many other strobe covers. Congrats!
I have no idea why that other dude playing this on Piano has more views, I was so bugged out watching his because it wasn't even in time, still good, but absolutely nothing in this version. Brilliant.
have you ever tried doing a cover of... Lux arcania, I'm not even sure that's spelled properly, in fact I'm sure it's not. it's the theme from Requiem for a dream. and also have you ever done any of the nutcracker suite? tchikovski was a bad ass wasn't he
Well you’ve only gone and nailed the most perfect fucking tune of all time man well done. If only Prydz and Opus wasn’t so long winded and samey I’d pay to see you play that
+Hoopin'Panda +John Doe It's not EXACT the same. Listen to the part in my cover from 4:03 and then listen to the same part in the cover from Evan Duffy (4:41). I play it as the original from Deadmau5. My measure count is different from Evan's. Just little things ;)
