Deadpool 2 Movie Reaction | First Time Watching 

So, the thing about Domino...she actually IS lucky...because she takes the luck from EVERYONE ELSE around her, which is why everyone keeps dying, crashing, or getting maimed around her. Her comics get pretty dark around this. So, yeah, there were high winds when the X-Force team jumped, but mostly it's because Domino was in the vicinity that they all died horrifically.

I've heard Chris Hemsworth as Thor wants to be, like desperately wants to be in Deadpool 3.

I adore the "shower thoughts" you rushing back to edit the video with, "Wait Vanessa might still be alive! :D " Perfection.

No one ever notices but when Wade pulls out the bag from under the floorboards there is a package labelled 'the cure for blindness' in there as well.

Cable, in the comics, is Scott Summers' and an alternate version of Jean Grey's son. He gets sent to the future to battle a techno-disease he was born with (hence the cybernetic enhancements). He is a telepath and telekinetic, like his mother. He also has technomancy abilities, that's why he is so adept at putting together advanced weaponry from common parts.

I had no idea you hadn’t seen this movie but I’m so glad you reacted to it! I honestly love the X-Men movies and the Deadpool films are no exception. Also fun fact: those two guys who Cable electrocutes are played by Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk. They really seem to love just randomly showing in so many comic book related media even for the briefest of cameos.

Just a heads up, if (and when) you watch Firefly: This PROBABLY won't be an issue, but Fox aired the episodes out of order (one of the reasons it got canceled, people were confused because the flow of the story was disjointed), so make sure to start with the episode "Serenity" (also the name of the movie, which happens after the series). That should get you sorted. :D

1:30 Cable & Deadpool was a pretty iconic duo in the comics, they even had their own comic runs. Cable does a good straight man to Deadpool's antics. On his own Cable isn't very interesting though, he comes from the edgy 90s comics and he is pretty OP (he got nerfed by a lot in this movie. I think they only kept his affinity with technology and how badass he is. In the comics he's a mutant with telepathic & telekinetic powers in addition to that)

The first movie was hilarious, the 2nd one upped the ante and it all better plus some genuine heartfelt moments. Can't wait to see what they do with number 3 (and your reaction to it)!

I love the death scene overall, but his call back to the "Cable's a racist" bit from earlier cracks me up everytime. I think what does it for me is that it's a joke, built on joke, built on another joke. Ryan Reynolds has always had a knack for these kinds of callbacks in his movies, and it's definitely one of the things I love about his stage craft. I really liked the editor additions this time around, they were fun. You could've just done the text over the video thing that a lot of reactors do, but the extra effort was appreciated and definitely worth while.

The young mutant, Russell, is in an earlier Taika Waititi film: Hunt for the Wilderpeople, which also has Sam Neil (Jurassic Park) and the assistant in Ragnarok who hated Valkyrie. Great flick, and worth seeing!

Don't know if anyone else pointed this out to you, but when you said "still wondering if there's cocaine in her house" after Wade told her there was in the first movie, right next to the cure for blindness. Well if you watch when he lifts up the floor board, under a bag of cocaine is a box labeled "the cure for blindness." 👍

The X-plane is based on the SR-71. It's top speed is 2,100 mph and was used by our US military until 1999. Yes, it definitely has a phallic profile

I noticed two Goonies references. 1. when Deadpool calling Cable One Eyed Willy and Wade wearing the same shirt as Chunk.

Not only is there cocaine in Blind Al's house, it is next to 'The Cure For Blindness', just like Wade said in the first movie.

Deadpool's interactions with Yukio were my favorite part of the movie. Always antagonistic to Negasonic and then sweetly ""Hi Yukio".

Yes, you DEFINITELY DO need to watch Firefly, THEN Serenity. We'd LOVE 😍to welcome you to the Browncoat society. Just don't read up on it or anyone's comments about it beforehand ... you'll appreciate the surprises in the show has in store for you. Just watch them in the proper order, not the broadcast order (Fox really screwed the pooch on that one ... 1 of the reasons it was cancelled).

What's interesting about Deadpool 2 is there's the theatrical version, the Super Duper Cut, & the PG-13 Once Upon a Deadpool version and there's surprisingly enough unique content between them to make them all worth experiencing.

I don't think you'll have to worry about TJ Miller being in the next movie

The reason for TJ Miller is, in the comics, Weasel is an actual character, Deadpool's side kick, and his techie that builds some of his gear. They didn't make him a techie in the movies, but felt the character needed to be in the movies in some capacity. TJ Miller actually agrees with you about needing to be in it. He said himself, you "already have Ryan Reynolds, what am I doing here?" Great reaction! Enjoyed watching as usual.

Even though it's the PG-13 version of the movie, "Once Upon a Deadpool" is worth the watch just for what it parodies alone. I love all the cameos in this one, especially the one scene when Beast quietly closes the sliding doors at the X-mansion. It's surprising the number of people that *don't* know that Josh Brolin's first role was in "The Goonies".

For the record, Luke and Leia have a sexual attraction to each other in the novel Splinter of the Mind's Eye by Alan Dean Foster. The book came out after the first SW film and was intended to be its sequel. Although they never actually "do it" the sexual tension is far more powerful than presented in the films. Foster had no way of knowing that Lucas intended to reveal Luke and Leia as siblings.

One of the funniest movies ever made, yet nobody gets all the way through without crying at least once.

Short story.. I know several musicians in LA that play or conduct for the film orchestras. After leaving the theatre I texted my friend Alex (trombone) and asked if he played ont eh score. He said “no” and asked why I wanted to know. I told him about the juggernaut fight scene and the lyrics in the chorus. He started laughing and said he was getting to the studios for a dif session as the choir was coming out of the Deadpool session and they were laughing their butts off at what they just recorded… they could hardly keep a straight face in the session at times. 😂❤️

Yay! Deadpool 2 reaction. In my opinion, this movie is one of the very few sequels that are actually better than the original (and I say that as someone who loved the first Deadpool).

I love the 1st one, But the 2nd one has more story going for it and Cable played by Josh Brolin who also played Thanos in the MCU was badass with Deadpool, Also, Seeing Colossus vs Juggernaut was great to see, Juggernaut in the comics is the step brother of X-MEN team leader Charles Xavier aka Professor X, Excellent reaction Angela.

We see cable in a burned down apartment. Crouching near two burned bodies. He looks devastated as he picks up a burnt teddy bear. He travels from the future to the past. He's looking for russel, a mutant with fire powers... only thing the writers didn't do was make airplane noises as they tried to spoonfeed the audience.

Cable's lineage is actually a lot weirder in the comics than him being Wade and Vanessa's kid from the future. He's actually the son of Cyclops and a woman he married named Madelyn Prior who was a duplicate of his then deceased girlfriend Jean Grey (who "died" after the Dark Phoenix Saga), who herself became rhe Goblin Queen of a bunch of demons. Young Nathan was infected by a machine virus by Apocalypse for which the only cure lied in the future, wooooooo, just so happened the X-Men were acquainted with some future folks at that time so problem solved, and Cyclops never saw his son again until years later as this grumpy old man named Cable's showed up and was as 90's an anti hero as 90's could get. Of course there were other factors at play for all this but this is as simplified as I could get it.

You missed the baby Hilter scene at the end. And Vanessa is Alive through Time Travel.

Cable is Nathan Summers. Scott Summers and Jean Grey's son. They left him in the future to protect him. He became a survivalist/soldier.

Morena Baccarin was also in the remake of the "V" TV series.

Firstly, I loved this reaction to Deadpool 2. Secondly, please react to Firefly. It’s one season followed by a Movie because the season was cut short. It has a big following, and rightfully so.

For a low-brow comedy they really nailed the emotion in this one, a surprisingly effective movie.

The brief scene with all the X-Men reportedly cost something like $22 million, not just for the fees for the actors, but to have the rights to use those characters. Another fun fact is Juggernaut is Prof. X's stepbrother.

As a result, the writers were quick to say that that end scene where he saved her actually *is* cannon. 38:56 Are you *ABSOLUTELY SURE* you haven't seen Firefly yet?

If you enjoyed Julian Dennison's performance as Russell I highly highly recommend The Hunt for the Wilderpeople. It's a Taika Waititi movie staring Julian. It's a really heart warming and touching movie

In the comics it so much funnier when he breaks the 4th Wall. Nathan Christopher Charles Summers aka Cable’s mutant abilities are telepathy and telekinesis. He is the son Scott Matthew Summers and Madelyne Pryor (clone of Jean Grey-Summers). They messed Juggernaut. He isn’t a mutant and he’s Professor X step brother.

Okay, so I don't know how many people knew this / understood this, but the 'Vanessa' Wade is talking to when he's having near-death experiences? That isn't Vanessa. That's another character from the Deadpool comics: Mistress Death.

Was really looking forward to this reaction and you didn't disappoint. The thing about the Deadpool movies is that a lot of people write them off as a comic book/superhero movie. Yes, the hour is crude and yes the violence is very graphic. But there's a lot more heart than they'd expect (like you mentioned with the Celine Dion song - you HAVE to watch that music video). We probably don't have to worry too much about what's canon from his time travelling antics because since the Fox acquisition Deadpool is said to be coming to the MCU. With the multiverse being a thing and the way we've seen branches work in Loki, I think the time travelling at the end there could be exactly what lands him in the MCU since it's just a different timeline/branch in the multiverse. Too much messing around could have essentially gotten him lost. If him moving to the MCU is true, I personally think it's unlikely we'll get more TJ Miller as Weasel and Marvel would want to recast after the troubling couple of years he's had, I'm hopeful for an MCU variant recast and for Deadpool to fully acknowledge the different actor. Variants have also been shown to be portrayed by the same actors so we could see the return of other performers reprising slightly different versions of their characters. In the comics, Vanessa Carlysle is actually a mutant with shapeshifting abilities who goes by the name Copycat and some the earliest stuff she was in depicted her as a conflicted villain. Wade finding this different version of the Vanessa (but hopefully still played by Morena Baccarin) could lead to a fun dynamic.

Yes, you're the only one seeing a phallus. Google SR-71. The X-Men plane is basically modeled after it, with a few impossible features added. The actual SR-71 itself is astounding, especially since it first flew in the early 1960's. The whole point of him going back in time was to save her. Vanessa is alive. He just cleaned up some other stuff while he was at it, but he saved her first.

TJ Miller's line the "Basic Instinct" is a reference to the movie where Sharon Stone does her famous leg cross

Cable is... A complicated character. He's the son of Cyclops and Goblin Queen (evil clone of Jean Grey) sent into the future to grow up in an uncaring environment to make him a survivor AND was afflicted with the phalanx virus (which converts organic matter into techno-matter) to constantly test his mental fortitude as he halts the infection by sheer will alone.

There was a deleted scene that showed mutant OMEGA RED.OMEGA RED is big time villian,especially to WOLVERINE.

If you pay attention to just before Wade jumps threw the window and just after Vanessa dies. You'll see Wade mouth the words "Papa can you hear me." Also yes that was Brad Pitt and Matt Damon was in the movie too.

There are theories that Wade’s time travel will get him in trouble with the Time Authority and cause issues for Deadpool 3. I’m so happy that he convinced Hugh Jackman to come back. He IS Wolverine. This movie (I think) is better than the first one. The jokes were great. Josh Brolin, great actor...can't go wrong with him. Domino was a big surprise....she stole the show for me. Juggernaut, one of the most dangerous people from Marvel. Love how they brought him to life. 12:48 - The kid was Professor X's son, David Charles Haller, Legion. Great TV show. 14:07 - One of those guys on the truck is Matt Damon. 19:31 - That's the guy who played the clown in the "IT" movies. Yes, that was Brad Pitt. It's going to be interesting to see how the MCU handles Deadpool.

In the comics, her power is essentially the same. She generates a psionic field that alters probabilities. Juggernaut is as displayed in the movie; his powers in the comics come from a special crystal that make him near invulnerable. Cable, in the comics, is a leader of X-Force, who are much more capable and competent than in Deadpool 2 lol 😆. His back story is much more personal to X-Men lore: his name is Nathan Summers. He's the son of Jean Grey and Cyclops.
