Deadpool multiverse skips into the blood rave scene. It's too perfect not to do. Gratuitous blood, jokes and sarcasm galore, the most memorable scene, built in sword fight opportunity. Fan fic would have Blade shatter both of Deadpool's swords as a plot device for the new adamantium replacements and as a bad*** intro of Blade to a younger audience.

Original blade movie is very nostalgic for me, I'm 37.. I remember my dad buying DVD player and new 42" TV with 7 speaker plus sub surround sound system for our new apartment, we watched blade 3 weekends in a row. Never did that for another movie ever. I miss being a kid 😢

I appreciated your taking your time to actually SHOW memorable, high-octane Blade scenes from all the 3 movies of the trilogy, and speaking about the issues as much as you could. It wasn't a throwaway reference but rather a detailed look and giving honor where it's due. BLADE, the movie, hit so many feels back in the day and possibly influenced some of the style of Matrix (in terms of leather and the cool aesthetic) and other movies afterwards. Wesley Snipes' true comic book fandom entry, and a classic at that! In my experience, you don't really hear people say it was a bad movie. Everyone either loves it or doesn't get the entire concept. No "mehs".

having Wesley back in the MCU would be great, I'd love to see him either as a version of Blade or another character. I'd hope that Ryan and Wesley have patched up any differences they have. Wesley was great when he cameoed in What We Do In The Shadows. I actually knew Peter David from his novelizations and novels from Star Trek way before I new he wrote comics.

The OG Blade film is in fact the spawning of the MCU. That first film is a classic and I only see Wesley Snipes as Blade. I have said it many of times that the Rave scene is THE BEST introduction of any superhero. I wish they could do a homage scene like that in one of these rumored films Wesley could show up in. The music, action, Wesley’s mastery of the arts, Traci Lords, Kenneth “Lem” Johnson as Mr. Adventure, I believe he was credited as, is Just a genius scene. Steven Norrington directed a classic. So glad Charlie mentioned the redemption of Downey, Jr. I got into a debate years ago with a guy in a chat who was just dogging Wesley’s tax problems and I mentioned he could get a reprieve like RDJ if given a shot by a studio. He would make an excellent Whistler to Ali’s Blade. But I believe in Blade lore, there is, was a black Whistler type character that precedes Abraham Whistler. The character isn’t Whistler but a mentor of sorts to Blade. Great news that Wesley is getting a shot to play this iconic character again.
