there was no beef between ryan and snipes ryan even said when first deadpool movie dropped in a interview with IGN that he would love to work with snipes again just not for a blade movie. so if u going to speak about something make sure u have the proper information first not just going by internet rumors
@@ShionshowaI absolutely thought a Spidey would show up and I guarantee one would have if not for Sony. Its really the only tease he didnt pay off in movie.
Gambit was the funniest for me, the fact they got Channing to play him despite the cancelled movie was hilarious, he legit didn't belong there but fully embraced it 😂
Best scene in the movie is where... Deadpool: Oh he's gonna say it! Deadpool: AVENGERS ASSE.... Johnny Storm: FLAME ON!!!!!!! Deadpool: I'm sorry what?!
Nope i new it wasn’t cap. Mainly because i was looking at his suit in the movie and I didn’t see any other detail just him wear blue tights. It’s a multiverse movie so its possible that we would get Jonny and not cap. Plus his i doubted if marvel killed off cap already they wouldn’t bring him back like this as variant. But i was so mad at Deadpool forgetting him killed
@@Ts-lz1gjto be fair his blue tights had red cloth wrapped around his wrist, and he also had a utility belt and cargos, it was clear he was MEANT to be visually similar to cap untill he flames on
I love that they had Gambit say he was probably born in the void. The metaphor between the void and cancelled or finalized franchises is incredible. Hopefully the MCU can keep using the multiverse like this and not as complete cameo bait in the future. Perfect use of nostalgia for those who’ve seen everything Marvel, and story building for those who aren’t as obsessed lol
i love sound minded, optimistic people. this movie really did set the bar for how the mcu can move forward with the premise of the multiverse. it was such a beautiful movie
Just putting Reynolds on the pay roll for the foreseeable future is a step in the right direction. I know some people have their issues with Ryan being that he is a bit overdone now and then but that man sure knows how to story board for a comic based movie so his expertise for other movies should be something they want to use properly and Shaun’s too.
I love how the movie is a celebration of the pre MCU era, it pokes a lot of jokes, is self aware, but most of all is respectful to the characters. The fact that Wesley Snipes can make self aware jokes was enough for me
He actually made me like him again because old Snipes would never have done that and it shows he grew out of it, Ryan too because I feel like it only could’ve happened with both of them burying the hatchet.
@@alexistecca408it looked great. I think it’s just because we’ve NEVER seen Hugh Jackman wear the mask so it has this weird unnatural feel to it. After like 30 seconds that weird feeling faded into absolute childhood happiness. Nearly cried when he pulled that hood over.
@@ricky7321there’s one close up shot of him and his face is at an angle where the plain white eyes look super weird. In the wide shots it looked so sick
If this movie is a masterpiece, then the idea of what constitutes a "masterpiece" has completely gone down the shitter. Once the honeymoon phase wears off in a few weeks, it'll be judged as it should be--a massive disappointment not worthy of Hugh Jackman's return.
Bro he even took a shot at his gambit movie that never came to be. he said "I think I was born here." talking about being in the void because the movie was never made.
He also said something like "or for people who never even get to be known by theirs" when they were talking about avenging their worlds. He's kinda hard to understand, I bet there's more jokes he said I missed, I gotta rewatch 😂
i didnt realize the context of that joke, until this reaction video. a whole different thought than i was thinking. I thought maybe he was just aloof lol.
“For the first time in my life, I am proud to wear this suit. It means I’m an X-Man. I am THE X-Man.” I cried. This goofy ass movie had me crying in the finale because Hugh Jackman sold the living hell out of that line. That is how you do fan service. Putting him in the suit was great. Giving him the cowl was great. But the explanation of WHY he is wearing it, and how it is initially a reminder of his shame but becomes a point of pride, a reminder of the love he had for his friends and from his friends. Charles would’ve been so damn proud to hear him say that. What a powerful moment.
The fact they didn't waste Blade, Elektra, and especially Gambit is awesome! They were so sick especially Tatum's Gambit. Now I'm thinking of how Fox screwed him up. He would have been awesome in his own film.
Actually, the filming of Gambit was about to start until Disney bought Fox, so the movie was cancelled. He was supposed to have his own movie, but unfortunately never did due to the deal.
@@ImAlsoMerobiba Yeah, that was my primary issue. I'm admittedly biased, since X-23's been my favorite Marvel character pretty much since her inception, but I was a little disappointed by her lack of screen time during the fight. It's not like Dafne can't handle the choreo or anything, as proven by her performance in Acolyte. Oh, well. I'm still holding out hope that they'll eventually utilize the character once they start exploring the X-Men in earnest in the MCU... assuming they make it that far, anyway.
Did y’all notice after a certain character said there would only be one of him that Deadpool gave a slow look straight at the camera? Like um… should we tell him? 😆
@@Shrektheogre2 I think they mentioned a few hero’s that died also in the void Dr strange Mr Fantastic the Fox version one and Daredevil believe Ben’s universe with Elektra and Punisher also Magneto just imagine how many more cameos we could have had hopefully the ones that helped Deadpool he goes back for them and we can get Blade back for the new Avengers movies and we need Laura (X-23) to be in this Wolverine vs Hulk movie there talking about
i can understand why it wasnt brought up in this video since it was only one line, but the joke Deadpool makes to Wolverine about joining the MCU "at a bit of a low point" actually killed me, of all the meta jokes they made i was not expecting a jab like that one LOL
93King To be fair, Feige himself has made comments recently basically saying how “you’d have to be under a rock to know some of the recent Marvel movies haven’t lit up the world like they once did”. I’m paraphrasing but it’s something along those lines. He’s also been outspoken about the over abundance of projects released in recent years and how things are being scaled back now. So I genuinely do think Feige and others internally have realized their shortcomings tbh
Big hair wolverine was age of apocalypse Wolverine that so dope they brought out all the best Wolverine comic issues while Deadpool went Variant hunting so 🔥
Since no one's said this in the comments, I'm gonna give Jennifer Garner her flowers. It was awesome seeing her back as Elektra, it was like time never passed. I didn't think I missed her until I saw her back on the big screen. Dafne Keen putting on the sunglasses before the big fight was such a nice touch, I loved it. And Chris Evans as Johnny Storm... man... I couldn't help but feel like marvel lowkey fumbled the bag with having the OG Fantastic Four cast back. Oh well. The rest of the cameos were awesome. They all stole the show in their own way. They were really clever in choosing who to have back (or just this one time like Cavillrine lol) while keeping both the continuity of the MCU and their plots contained for just this movie alone. Anyways, I still need to process this movie a bit more. Still, thank you marvel for this fun ride!
It sucks that the Elektra movie never got a sequel unlike Blade. But I read that the movie wasn’t doing great in theaters. Hopefully Jennifer Garner will get to play as her again in another marvel movie especially Wesley as blade.
I’m so proud of myself. A FULL YEAR AGO when people were saying that any Fox super hero could possibly show up I literally posted online “how funny would it be if Chris Evans showed up as Johnny Storm?” 😂
The Wesley Snipes Blade cameo was the one that made me go "holy shit!". And I LOOOVE that he brought back the line, "Some mf'r still trying to ice skate uphill" LOL!!! There'll only ever be one Blade!
Not only was it hilarious to have CT show up as the character that never was, but they really gave him the opportunity to have some truly excellent fight moments. And the accent jokes were funny af
I was just praying a few days back that I hope i could see Gambit in it and the minute the card scene came I was like omg my prayers are heard but then when I saw Channing and I just died😭😭
The timing of the mask reveal for Wolverine was perfect for me… I literally just said to myself “hey, they haven’t shown his mask. Are they even gonna show it in this?!” 4 seconds later he reached back and 🤯. Looked amazing. I’m more of a yellow/brown suit fan and still thought they brought this to life exceptionally well.
I'm gonna be honest... Tatum's Gambit grew on me a little bit. Being in deep south Louisiana, the audience was very pleased everytime he spoke with that thick cajun accent. He got that on point.
I see so many people shitting on it and I don’t think they realize how WEIRD a thick cajun accent is. He did a very good job. Pretty sure Tatum is from the bayou
It really was, I loved the bit where Hugh was talking about people questioning him as Wolverine and here we are over 20 years later unable to imagine anyone else.
I 100% called human torch. The moment i saw all the blue and his chest being covered, i figured it out. However, i felt unbridled joy when i saw Snipes. The og marvel movie hero returns and dear god, I've missed him.
@@samhain81 crazy how you could instantly know exactly how fictional character would manage their hair while living in the void for an unknown amount of time, thats awesome
Gen X understood everything that was going on. It was amazing. That Blade and Gambit cameos are the reason I've seen this twice and have another showing Saturday.
I like how when Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman did their message to the fans a couple years ago about how this movie would happen, they actually showed the fighting scenes that happened
@@seanypark505a couple years back they had a teaser about how they were going to attack each other in the fight; Hugh stabbing Deadpool in the head and Ryan attacking Wolvie in a similar way. They brought their comedic skit to life
exactly! They treated the characters with respect. Proper fight scenes and even attempted story lines. Not just cameos that has no weight then die 2 minutes later.
@@samhain81 I'm fine with short cameos like that when it's 2 characters that already have interacted. If they brought in Johnny and had him die instantly to Pyro, that'd be different. But I do wish we got a few more seconds of the Wolverine and Hulk together.
They should let Ryan’s writing team have some involvement in Secret Wars. This movie really showed how the Multiverse stuff is done. Blade man, Blade(without his sword but that’s okay)… the first guy to save Marvel. Happy they were grown enough to put the past behind. Ryan did that. The fact that none of those characters were wasted is truly amazing.
Since this is spoilers... I loved the Chris Evans moment, that’s the kind of fun and clever multiverse work. Loved the Wolverine and Hulk cover recreation.
i feel like when he said “flame on” everyone was shocked and surprised… but to me it was clear that it was Johnny instead of Cap as soon as his face was revealed… anyone else?
The way I took Johnny Storm cussing up a storm in the post-credits scene was the fact that Captain America was not allowed to curse and so Chris Evans was finally able to let it all out
Wtf are you talking about?!?! Blade was amazing I agree. But hulk? He was there for like 2-3 seconds. There was no wolverine vs hulk fight lol. Left me a bit disappointed
When I first saw Evans, I was happy thinking it was the Captain. But as the gears started turning, I realized… This movie is a multiverse movie, and then thought of Johnny right before the reveal
Cameos aside... This is the best version of Wolverine in 2 decades we have seen him on big screen... And his dynamic with Deadpool is incredible. My god this movie looks GLORIOUS!!! 🔥💯
Awesome Video!!! I Really Loved how while The Cameos were Absolutely Insane, They also had a Purpose in The Story and weren't just there for fan service. This is The REAL Multiverse Of Madness. Just Perfection. Gambit had to be My Favorite Cameo, He's One of My Favorite X-Men and I've been waiting to see Him in Live Action for So Long and I'm So Happy Channing Tatum Finally got to Play Him!!! I wasn't sure if He could do it but He was Perfect!!! They turned His Accent into a Hilarious Joke and He was Also Badass. This Movie was Everything I Ever Wanted as a Huge X-Men and Deadpool Fan, I Loved it So Freaking Much. LFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18:25 I did that, but it actually enhanced the experience for me. Particularly because they use the musical motif from Logan (Main Titles theme) a couple of times and noticing that made me giddy in the theatre.
I just came back from the theater. It was a good time! With every cameo that was spoiled via trailers or rumors, I was fully cheesing!! I was so happy. It's a really good time, y'all!
The Cavilrine, fucking perfect. also, Wesley snipes!?! and he said the ice skating up hill thing again! how much did they pay him to even be on screen with ryan reynolds again :D
Really wish I hadn't guessed the Human Torch bit immediately, but the little glimpse at the Fantasticar kind of telegraphed it lol Also, my takeaway from the Gambit cameo is that Channing Tatum has a massive head 😅
When he said FLAME ON, I screamed and laughed at the same time. I think I was the only one who audibly reacted in my theater. But that was a genuine surprise and didn't even think of that possibility till it happened. Loved it.
