The original was already beautiful, but this version is stunningly gorgeous & epic. How the violins swing in rhythm with the guitars, like waters flowing with the river's current. How this incredible rearrangement doesn't get more views is beyond me. Well done, sir!
Hi, I wanted to say that I've been listening to your version of this song instead of the original. I love the harmony between the guitar and violin, it's like they're dancing and taking turns. It's amazing. It would be even better if the violin had a more notes? Like instead of long notes it would have more different ones like classical music, or maybe some "vibrato" (I did do some violin but I'm not a musician). Just to tell you that I really appreciate your added violin to this song, so thank you for sharing this.
thank you so much for the comment! when i initially began programming strings, there's a lot of variables within SWAM that i full disclosure didn't understand or straight up ignored so to hear that you tend to prefer this version over the og in spite of its imperfections is so great to hear and i appreciate the comment a lot. I did try to strike a balance between the guitars and the violins, in my mind i wanted to compliment the song rather than have it be the main feature but I for sure could have done more with it. Vibrato programming is also something I'm working towards improving on. again, thank you for the comment! appreciated more than you know :)
