They need to line up the interpreter with the signing... for real

Great vlog and it's time we had a discussion about this in the news. It's not just in Rio, it's all over North America lack of high skilled interpreters. What else I liked about this vlog was that you didn't cut out the signing, I could see the Deaf person's signing. I 'm Deaf and I prefer to see what the Deaf person says than to read the captioning or see the hearing person talking about what the Deaf person says.

you not only one.. Alaska state . most of towns struggle.. ,, we are having trouble in our big citys not enuff inteprters or acess to deaf needs.

I actually just began my first semester i'm in ASL 104 but this summer i'll be in ASL 105 and in the Fall ASL 108 and 109 :) you?

Uhhh....Interpreters don't "help" any of their consumers. You don't "help" a doctor; it's not like when they hire an interpreter they're excepting a volunteer to work around the office. They are there to provide a service and to facilitate communication between two parties with different languages. There's no "helping" involved. Way to misrepresent an entire profession.
