3.15.2012: Trisha Malfitano, author of My Dog Kiefer, based on her rescued dog, 2, who was born deaf. Maltifano brought Kiefer to a class at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf to visit teacher Susan Byrne and her 2nd and 3rd grade students. Kiefer is a border collie.
