i’m a goalie and i love it! I had a really bad game last season and the whole other team + crowd chanted “emptyyy net” and i found it more funny than anything.
i play keeper in an indoor soccer league and my first game they were berating me in spanish, from what i could understand I was laughing my ass off. it was hilarious. They said i was a bad keeper with garbage shoes, along with god knows what else. when we won i chanted it back at them 😂
as a Blackhawks fan, i officially hate Nashville, but the chant is harsh but hilarious. EDIT: i actually don't hate Nashville. i'm just upset after their sweep against Chicago. the hawks are really going downhill after 2015's Stanley Cup win.

Hell yeah, I love it. As a Preds fan who doesn't live in Nashville or Tennessee (yet that is), I think this could be our year to finally bring the Stanley Cup to the Music City. Let's Go Preds!!! Even if we don't win, we finally eliminated the Blackhawks so I'm content. I think this series will go to 6 games. I think the Preds will win again in Nashville, then Anaheim will take game 5, and finally the Preds win game 6 in Nashville to go to their first ever finals. Let's Do this.
Thanks man. I was mad when my Preds lost in the finals, but I think they're where they need to be as a franchise. I'm looking forward to seeing how my teams: the Carolina Hurricanes, the 2017 Western Conference champions Nashville Predators, and the new kids one the block the Vegas Golden Knights do this season. Who knows, Nashville might go again and win. Vegas might make some noise in the west. Hell, for all we know Carolina might get their shit together and actually make the playoffs for the first time in years. Regardless of what happens, I'm looking forward to the 2017-18 season. Im a hawks fan. When i was watching this game i heard them saying crawford. And i was thinking " why are they cheering for us?" I asked my dad and he told me it was a taunt.
The goalie chant is usually reserved for College games. It's not typically heard in the NHL, because despite what some morons would want you to believe, the NHL and its fans are respectful and don't heckle....because morons would have you believe that you can't be "hard" or "tough" and not act like a total asshole to someone....which is all that chant really is. However, because you asked the change goes....Hey, Hey Goalie guess what? you suck. It's all your fault, It's all you're fault, It's all your fault. I've been a hockey fan for years...more than I'm going to tell and been more NHL games than I can count..and until this, I never heard it at another NHL game. It's really poor taste. Funny, but classless... and that's why it's usually only done in amateur games.

The only thing I hate about the predators is when they taunt the other team. I get the celebration, but saying “you suck”, “we’re gonna beat the hell out of you.” I don’t understand how that is allowed
