As a PSV fan I really liked this game, the atmosphere was awesome, they struggled in the 1st half but the second half they played a lot better. I hope that they can pull it off at home

You spoke about the star being Rangers ( 9:11 ) If I remember rightly it was a Rangers FC director that came up with the initial idea for the group stages format for the Champions League as it is now. Obviously, there are more teams and knock-out stages. 30 years ago ( 1992 ) it was two groups and whoever top those groups met in the final. Rangers beat Leeds United to qualify to be in one of those groups which were pipped by Marseille, so missed out on being in the final but that Rangers team went on a 44-game winning streak and won the domestic treble.

as a PSV fan I agree that we where lucky with goals from corners. but the first 15 minutes and the second half we where the better team. but that is probably hard to see from the stand you where sitting hahaha

I disagree with your opinion about the score. PSV dominated second half. Rangers much better first. Rangers were super fortunate with the slip up.

PSV was all over Rangers in 2nd half. Only due to a bad mistake of Benitez, Rangers scored. And the atmosphere at Ibrox….it was only the entire stadium after the 1-1 and the 2-1. When the team really needs you the most, it’s pretty quiet, excluding that corner behind the goal…

PSV also dominated large parts of the game. It was a game of both sides. A draw was well deserved. Also the Rangers only scored that freekick because the wet ball slipped out of the keeper's hands.

Weird. The PSV fans I met outside Ibrox pre-match were very friendly and a credit to their club. Yet this comments sections is full of keyboard warriors hiding behind their computers and who were definitely not at the game probably because mum and dad said no you got school in the morning.

I remember that first CL season (when I was living in France). Rangers qualified by beating Leeds in a (cliche alert) Battle of Britain. It was when Ally McCoist got a ridiculous number of goals and Mark Hateley was his strike partner. They were so close to making the final but unfortunately Olympique Marseille cheated their way to the trophy after bribing opponents both domestically and in Europe.

Rangers still managed to get a goal basicly just because of the error the goalkeeper made. If any team should be happy or feel lucky they at least gotten a draw it should be Rangers and their fans.

Don’t agree with the comment though that they didn’t deserve their second goal, Any club falling behind that manages to grab back a draw always deserves it, They fought for it and rangers were sloppy and it cost them

PSV 100% deserved something mate. I want Rangers to win the tie like every Scottish side but PSV were very much in the game. Hopefully Rangers sneak a goal and hold onto it. I do not rate sands whatsoever though if they could replace him would be more comfortable. I'm incredibly excited and nervous for Thursday but hopefully we can at least go back to tynie with a draw or at worst behind by a goal and try and smother them at home.

What a striker Van Nistelrooy was at the peak of his powers, I genuinely think he was THE greatest scorer of goals we have ever seen, certainly in the UK but I really do believe at his best he was the best the world has ever seen at the art of scoring goals. PS, Auld fella with the glasses always sits behind him at Ibrox, doesn't he. I assume FA has a season ticket, or knows someone who has who gives up his ticket to him every so often, because he's nearly always sat in the same seat, with the same guys around him.

Man that was an amazing game last night. Čolak's goal was absolutely beautiful and when the keeper fumbled that goal. It was a brilliant match to watch and I think the game next week is going to be just as challenging for Rangers because both sides were so evenly matched, but overall we were the better team if you look at the stats from the game. I am confident that we can beat them. I just think that it will be an interesting challenge and I can't wait to tune in next Wednesday.

next time you can reflect fairly on the match. First half rangers were better for like 35 minutes but the second half was PSV's for sure. I think a draw is the most righteous end. Anyway I like the rangers as a club and wish them all the best in the Europa League 😉 See your for hopefully a very exciting game (Like our 2nd leg against Monaco)

Man, how can you argue Rangers were the better team? PSV dominated the second half, created at least 4 good chances in total and scored only 2 whereas Rangers only created one good chance which went in (Colaks goal) but scored twice. How many saves or close shots did PSV concede? None. Yes Rangers were the better team in the first half but that only lasted 20 minutes at max after the equalizer. PSV definitely the favorites to progress based on the result, run of play and home game in Eindhoven next week!

I know I'm going to get stick for this but this once brilliant channel seems to be rather predictably going the way of all media relating to Scottish football (A view from the terrace aside). The best thing about Footy Adventures was the focus on small, unfashionable, lower league or non league teams - that's what made this channel unique, the fact that it was the wee teams that were getting a bit of publicity for once. Even though I've followed a lower league club all my life, I still learned loads about some great wee teams/fans/grounds/histories etc. Sadly every second video now seems to be about Rangers or Celtic. I understand it's about views and subsciptions but I would much rather watch a video about Burntisland Shipyard than about Celtic or Rangers, yes we know they're massive clubs, we know they're playing in Europe, we know their fans create an atmosphere, we just don't need yet another channel telling us that.
