I drove a 944 for about 6 years as my daily, even in the winter. I ended up selling mine last year for $5k. One of my biggest regrets!

I use to work for an auto auction I completely agree with Randy, I worked a service truck that did refueling/jump starting and drivers would do this to designate cars that needed fuel before we sent the cars through the lanes, love the walk arounds !

I have a 1988 Porsche 944 with 160,000 miles on it. A clutch job is not fun, but if it’s just the clutch master or slave, it’s not a bad job.

I sold those Jimmys back in the day and they WERE classified as a truck, even with the DMV, so you're not wrong 🙂. Also, that is a console on the ceiling, an overhead console is what it was referred as.

Wow. I just got rid of a 87 Z28, that had 508K on it. Owned it since 89. I put an intake gasket in about five years ago. The only thing ever taken apart on the actual engine. Carb was never even rebuilt. Lol (last year a carb was available). Love the Porche.

Hey Randy, you just brought up a memory that a Chrysler 300 always brings back to me! I was a top producing real estate broker in Las Vegas Nevada from 1990 to 2010! Selling to celebrities, world, champion, boxers, unbeknownst at the time Mafia not even flew me back to New York for a wedding! I have to be careful I don’t get carried away At any rate, I sold a house to The brother of Brad Garrett of everybody loves Raymond and he drove a Chrysler 300! Brat even gave him part of the proceeds to buy the house

Wonderful to see the cars and trucks. Keep a vehicle for two years? That's a novel thought isn't it, though it may be a top channel video. I just traded my truck in that I kept for two years and thousand of people click on it because that never happens. I like the Blazer. Once again, thank you for all the great videos.

Buy the 944 for a fun rebuild as many people will watch it... plenty of Porsche people will find it and share it. Who knows you might get more views on the Porsche than any other video. If you need a car for tax buy a beast that you can use for the biz to tow other cars around, a massive RAM etc with a trailer... the Range rover could be another project car... make an offer of $500 and see if you get it!

Why didn't Ford, just slap a Coyote in the Raptor, and call it a day? They would have sold so many more trucks? I don't see the Ecoboost V6 lasting anywhere near as long as a NA V8?

Something you need to remember Randy, the Ford GT isn't a big heavy full-size truck, so that 3.5L definitely doesn't need to work as hard. When it comes to the fuel doors and caps, I don't think you are correct, doors yes caps no leaving the caps left off would allow moisture to get into the tank, also every car is assigned to a parking spot with a number or letter, so they would go off of that not the doors being left open. Lastly, you have looked at vehicles with low to no fuel and the door was untouched.

The Optima is still in production. The K5 is Kia luxury Class vehicle pricing starting around 50 to 60k based on the trim package. Resale value is top knotch if grabbed at the right price.

There were some great cars in this one Randy! That 944 was pretty cool especially with that mileage. Not a bad content car honestly! The 300M and that Jimmy/Blazer were also great cars to bid on and make some videos of. Haven't seen a clean 300M in forever. Sweet video as always and keep up the great stuff!👍

Hey Randy: love your videos, I never miss one. I’d love to hear that 600K mile 944 run. Please consider that for a future video if you get the chance. I love those; they’re such a great driving car. I’m amazed at the mileage on it. It might make good content if it runs and sells very cheaply, like around scrap value. It would be interesting to see if you could make a good driver out of it for super low dollars.

The big winners of the video are the 2000 GMC Blazer and the 2002 Chrysler 300! Honorable mentions are the Chevy Spark, the Ford Raptor, and the Nissan Leaf haha! I really hope you get the GMC, it looks to be a one-owner car that was taken care of!

I remember the spider fuel injection on the blazers. When I was automotive school in 2016 me and some friends work on this truck that has it one of the plastic lines ruptured and spray fuel all over us. When I got back home in my apartment the girlfriend ask me what the hell was I doing.😂😂

Buy that Porsche and do a LS swap in it.. !!! It would be AWESOME !! My Porsche mechanic does that to 944's and Races them all over the USA.. And he builds them for other race car drivers. The 3.5 Raptor gets about an average of 14-16 mpg. I love Ford, but I'd probably take a V8 getting 10 over a V6 getting 15, especially if I didn't drive it everywhere all the time.

man I got one in Europe and from what I keep seeing they are getting rare in US. I have like 2 years now in search for a set of window trim for these cars....nobody in US has them but this car has them so I'm so drooling lol .To get an idea how rare they are here I have 10 Lamborghini's in my city and just 2 300'm in the entire country one of them has the shitty 2.7 and mine has the 3.5.

I personally think you should get your TRX back! It was everything you wanted. The only thing it was missing was decent gas mileage. No vehicle is perfect, but it seemed to be "perfect" for you. It matched your needs, wants, and personally. It was "your" "perfect" vehicle. It was you all day, every day. Just have to accept to one downside, gas mileage. Or learn to keep one vehicle that's good on gas, and drive on weekdays, and drive TRX on weekends and long distance trips.

I consider a body on frame 4X4 SUV a truck. Not a pickup but a truck. The Spark, bad memories. It's the car that was so bad I happily gave the reop guy the key. They can't do anything to you here. When they took the car it stopped being my problem.

I have thought about buying a 944 or it's a bit more rare here big sister the 928. The 944 was a less loved cheap Porsche here. I don't see any of the other front 4 cylinder Porsches here. I love those Chryslers. I have also thought about buying one of those. I don't buy a car every winter since prices went insane.
