I'm impressed with all the camera cuts you do on these videos. You must spend a lot of time setting up the 2nd camera just to film you walking down a hall. And then there's all the editing putting all those cuts in sequence. That takes a lot of time!
@@DaveBsellsChevy What's more amazing is that your dealership actually lets you do this at all. Some bosses might say, "Stick to selling, not filming RU-vid clips." So we can see you are highly valued there.
Videos are cool. Thanks for being honest. I know sales guys just care about Business and making a sale and not the customers. So the number 1 priority is the scam and get as much money as they can. So great job on being honest. 👍🏾
True there are sales guys who only care about profit and from what I've seen in my experience they usually make less in the long run. Better to treat the clients right so they keep coming back
I had a black 2000 Durango. I purchased it new and drove it for 13 years. One of the best cars I ever owned. I wish I still had it. Actually, there was a "California Concepts" version that I would buy today if I could locate one.
As always nice video, a lots of info but with the difference that you brake it down. Are the Blazer and Tahoe have lease options and if they do. Can you okease talk about them please?
Love your videos! Question... how close is Livingston to Ocean City? I went there on vacation a couple years ago and want to know how close I was to your store.
wow thats nice of you guy doing all that work for the nissan I only wish I could of bought my vehicle like that instead I had to find problems after problems with the vehicle I have now I mean nothing they just wanted to fix nothing I had to do it all on my own now. Even with the radio in my ride the dealer I bought it from just buy a new radio and we can install it for you and I said no thank you I just bought another factory radio from another website its working fine. Other than that never buying my vehicle from a small dealer where I got mines from.
This is one of the main reasons I work at this dealership. To be able to not only tell a client how we reconditioned the vehicle but to provide them all the paperwork involved for their records makes the sale process so much easier on everyone.
I noticed a lot of bright red type color vehicles in this video between the Blazer at the beginning of your video to the Durango and the Camaro. Interesting color to say the least. I say you buy that Durango and fix it up! Worry about everything else later lol
As a seasoned professional in the automotive industry, would it be prudent to recommend a position in car sales to an individual who is both a novice driver and harbors aspirations of entering the field of automotive sales?
I have been reading that now is a great time to trade in a car because trade-in values are going up. Have you noticed this trend and is it leading to more new car sales/leases? How long does it take when a customer comes in to return a lease and to get into their new car? Do you have to run their credit and all that again? Thanks for the videos and the info.
Yea, trades have been coming up in value because the used car market is short of vehicles right now. With the lease buyout you do need to do a new credit check and the process doesn't take long.. Maybe an hour
Hey Dave. I wanted you ask your opinion on buying a rental vehicle. I am looking to buy a car, but some of them have been rental cars and now are for sale. Any advice
We sell previous rentals as well. Not bad cars, just make sure everything looks good, carfax is clean, and ask what the dealer did to recondition the car... brakes, tires, etc
@@DaveBsellsChevy wow no kidding? I was curious cause I'm a proud owner of a white 14 model. Best car I have ever had yet! Fast and a true sleeper! I was curious to knowing how rare they are.....mine sits in the garage a lot with low mileage. Always a thrill when I take her out once in a while.....thanks for the response Dave! 👍
Do you guys get to order vehicles from gm or is there a person at your dealership that orders vehicles for inventory i was curious how that process works wasnt sure if you could go hog wild on features or if you had to stay within perimeters.
Once we get allocation from GM to order specific vehicles and how many our General manager and inventory manager order based on what sells most. They usually play it safe but can get as creative as they want. If it was me there would be more bold colors on the lot vs the gray, white, black that we mostly sell..lol
Them people got a great truck for there son i remember my first vehicle it was a 96 Pontiac Grand prex then i had a 98 chevy cavalier and now i have my fisrt truck 08 colorado
Awesome! Best of luck. Generally you'd make more commission on used because the new car market is very competitive and pretty much everything sells under invoice but it will all depend on the market in your area.
We are pretty relaxed as far as quotas here. The usual goal is for the store to sell over 100/110 per month. They really don't seem to care how it is sliced up among the salespeople.
@@DaveBsellsChevy Just bought a 2020 ZR2 Bison. Got it for $45,000 W/$4,500 cash back on top of that. The 2019 silverado was so nice but too big for my needs. Being a detailer, black paint is going to drive me crazy! but i've only seen 3 bison around here since they started production. just hit 300 miles in it today.
not on paper.. I'll gather info like that talking with my clients along the way. You find out what's important to them or what may be useful to them in their daily life and make sure to mention it.
@@DaveBsellsChevy yeah i just started in the car business in Tulsa,OK with last month being my first and I put out 11. Is there any advice you could give that would help with things like that. I sell chevys also
Lol dam u responded. Listen Is wasn’t trying to be a dick and knock you , I just suck at people skills and wouldn’t sell a dam car in 4 months lol best of luck to you man . Sorry, didn’t mean to come off as a asshole
Dude I was being stupid. Straight up. It’s. Monday and I was in the mood to talk shit . Seriously though, my people skills suuuuuck. If I was a salesman. “ u wanna buy this car?” Customer: “no”. Me: ok have a nice day lol. Listen I talk shit cause I like to, but honestly if your making a living off selling cars; mush respect to you. I’ll be completely honest, it’s not I wouldn’t want to be a salesman, it’s that I can’t lol. I suck . Hope you have a great night man. Sorry to troll you and talk shit.
Depends on how much you can make per toilet bowl clean. Perhaps you dhould get into selling toilet bowls, @dandan7973 ? Fun fact: not everyone needs to own a car, but everyone needs their own toilet! 😂😂😂. 🚽
